Lest we forget that Pictet is certainly under water and has to buy back 1.62 percent of shares with another 7.10 percent of other short positions!

The market has marked a lot of shares down this morning. Because of the share price increase over the last week, sure, the Shorters and MMS going to trying to get the price back down but I for one am much more optimistic than a month ago!

You can’t make big profits selling on news into a positive outlook. Those investors looking longer term should do extremely well from here and those with share purchases made from 15 pence to 40 pence will do well.

Those advocating selling because of a perceived “overvaluation” are using old data to try and persuade their point. However, debt going down means interest payments going down and no prospect of imminent failure of Tullow. As said a few times over the 2 and a bit weeks investment is all about forward looking. The Short positions will start to to unwind from now.

Well that just goes to show what a pile of pony trying to link companies is. What a load of twaddle.

If oil had remained at 25-35 dollars Tullow would not have survived very much longer (is this Moody analysis?) but with effective cost cutting 35-50 dollars will be fine IMO. Hope to see 60-70 dollars and share price will recover to over 1 pound.

Tullow has time now to get itself in order.
There is no certainty but things are turning in our favour for a change and a bit of good fortune wouldn’t go amiss.
FSTE is 20% off it’s high. Brexit is going to be sorted one way or the other and is holding everything back. Watch the takeovers come rolling in next year with cheap companies being picked off.

Pictet probably has paid 3.5 - 4.0 million for its Short position.
It’s currently probably showing a paper loss of 1.0 - 1.5 million on them
