Best Estimate prospective resources of 235 million barrels of oil with a 34% geological chance of success. I think spudded around end January or start February so mid April will know!

Drilling is located in Block 47 offshore Suriname.
Stena Forth drillship is drilling a well located 162 miles from the shore, water depth is approximately 1,900 meters with drilling to about 5,400 meters and is expected to last about 70 days costing $60 million.
Tullow Oil is the operator with a 40 per cent interest.

A lot of talk about what the share price will be in a year or so. Well it depends and Tullow now at least has a future!
- Concentrate on core assets
- Find more oil
- Reduce debt
- Restart dividend
Which will lead to a better share price and yes £1.50 or £2.50 is not a pipe dream but don’t expect these prices for several years. However, that said, some good drill results would quickly see Tullow around a £1 again.
Medium term I see Tullow setting around 55 pence to 75 pence.

I bet small time investors got mugged under last days price. These shares have only started re rating. You don’t get rich by selling at the first hurdle....the prize is a planned reduction in debt to 1.5 billion dollars and focusing on core areas.
I got in here at various points from 8 pence and whilst have ducked in and out now is not the time to sell. Last warning from me but I’ll say I told you so!

Drilling results good then will be 75 pence in a flash, BOOM!
