Hey Moose, your advice would be welcome... as I understand there is a pause in trading at midday for about 5 mins of more to allow a stock to balance. Does that mean the momentum can be controlled by traders who hold an interest either way?

I am very aware that Melqart have shown an interest by increasing their short... a double tap within 3 days. Cause for concern but having looked at their track record (especially in very recent months) I'm not worried.
Of interest to those that can be bothered... might be worth bunging a few quid into AA plc on Monday.. Complete gamble of course but gut feeling tells me there will be a full cash takeover (they need that because of debt). Bought in today at 26p If all goes according to plan I suspect Buy PS will be at least 49p if not considerably more.

To me this represents a drop first off, I will then wait for about 5-7 mins to see how things pan out.

I don't pay for access to facts and figures - In my relatively very short experience I have built up my own system for when to buy in and when to cash out of a stock - Gut feeling supported by visual assessment.
I will only work with a stock that, if it doesn't provide me with my daily cash-in target I am sure will rise at some point in the not too distant future, thus allowing me to get back on track in no time.
For me, this Monday, Boo looks like it will present an opportunity for me again.

Snowman, I really am a small time investor.
Only got into the shares business about 10 months ago now. I soon realised that small times like me are taken advantage of time and time again.
This is now my interest/ hobby.
I take great pride in the investigative research that I do. Why? Because I am sick of small time investors being rolled-over!

A word to the wise. I invested £50 in a company called Wirecard. Full of confidence I was. There really was no stopping the meteoric rise in my investment. Quite unbelievable how fast they were growing. I took my eye off the proverbial ball, believing I could concentrate on other matters and pretty soon my investment would be worth a fortune. Lo and behold, a nasty rotter named Burkhard Ley, had well and truly dry fisted me.
Pretty much overnight my £50 investment (which had by then grown to £115) disappeared. Left a somewhat nasty taste in my mouth, I can tell you.
It turns out, allegedly, that the nasty Mr Ley is now trying to broker a reveal all deal with OLAF. Clever move in my view… less years in the not so pretty jail.
Perhaps if Wirecard had employed the services of Mahesh Patel, by all accounts – the accountant of accountants, I might now be sitting on £200?
For sure, unlike Mr Ley, he would not now find himself trying to broker a deal with our version of OLAF, the SFO.
