Fundamentals are better now than they were then.

The CEO has made a large investment.

My investment recovered, then bloomed.

NCYT has no very large II's. - yet.

However, could it be that II's like to be given a little information unavailable to PI's, because they own so much of the company, and that the reason there are no large II shareholders, is because GM historically has not provided II's with anything the PI's don't know?

Looks to me like the US are following the U.K. lead by putting in place mechanisms to massively bolster its domestic Covid supply chains. No bar to foreign test manufacturing as long as actual manufacturing done in the US, but we would need EUA by 31 March (which seems unlikely..)

But you never know...!

Having looked briefly at the second link, it would appear to be about manufacturing capacity increase:

IMO, I believe if the contracted US OEM felt they needed finance or assistance under this program, they could apply for it, but that Novacyt per se would not be involved.

It would be for NCYT to encourage the OEM to apply if they felt the OEM would benefit.

crl123 - If I may:

Ncyt can move 15% or more in a day. Just because Mm’s decide to please clients. - & only 72 Mil shares in issue.

IMO now is just a time for waiting but recognizing it is not easy. Ncyt has no debt. No vultures. - but possibly lots of interest in buyout / merger.

AVCT's LFT news today will reverberate for the rest of the week, and presumably we can expect the interview with GM Thursday or Friday.
So expecting these 'news items' to run concurrently, and not 'Once LFT news drops off then this company on further news will move north.'

My interest is in 'why the future is bright', and clarification about criteria already RNS'd is forthcoming, as we cannot expect new info in the interview without a prior RNS.

My first reaction is that this will be words from the CEO to buoy the sp, - so let's hope he succeeds.

If I'm right why 'buoy the sp' now?
- because at this sp, potential bidders are emerging, or
- because GM's large investment is under water? or
- because PI's are unhappy about 'forward looking statements in a recent RNS?

I don't have any answers.

Hoping this won't be a pointless PR exercise that satisfies nobody.

I'm sure they will want to know the Ct value, or the range of Ct values, beyond which the test will not provide a reliable result.
That information will be a 'must have' for those certifying, so I assume it will form part of the full clinical validation.

IMO NcNulty buys back in only after the GM interview is confirmed for 26th Feb.

This may be GM's motivation for 'supporting the sp', by arranging the interview. (In no hurry though is he).

Assume new information will have to be RNS'd first, not announced in an interview.

So the $64,000 question is do we expect an RNS prior to interview.
