At every stage in the introduction of the 12+ new products introduced in the last year, we have had little notice of what to expect mostly.

There is a grand plan being enacted and orchestrated by GM, and he stated at the end of the AGM last year,
we are only at the start of the journey.

So GM knows what this company is currently worth TO HIM.
When he's done, he knows what it will be worth TO HIM.

He will know if an offer is good or not, and I trust him to only be satisfied with an out of this world offer, that he has negotiated.
With all these market disruptive products that keep emerging, I would be surprised if he has not refused quite a few offers.

That is why I think this company will not be sold yet.
If he has to fight a hostile takeover, I trust him to do so on his terms, he seems to know what he's doing.

We are told that PCR is being used in surge testing, be we have no idea how many.

There seems to be as many surge testing operations today as there was a week ago, so it's not diminishing.

Anyone would think they were working just the standard 12 hour day 6 days a week.

Just a thought but it would make the customer very happy if positive test samples were genome sequenced.
That could be done on site with suitable instruments, Q32 or not.
It would be just like GM to ask for a contract like that, after all, who else could use PCR to sequence these samples.

I looked at LGC's assay offerings today, but they all seem to need RNA extraction.
I felt that the most likely company to develop an extraction free assay was LGC.

How many super-lab agreements included a requirement to use the instrument suppliers assay?
Quite a few I fear.

At the moment, I do not see who GM thought would buy the Covid-HT Direct,
unless the super-lab contracts are up for renewal, and there is an appetite for a change of assay.

NCYT is not the only sp the MM's regularly feed to the Lions for no reason. Admittedly it is more than obvious here.

But we can, and by a lot. We have no information about SNPsig sales, but as this is a unique market disrupting product, who can guess what the margin is. 80% minimum I venture.

We need to get this product (and as many Q16 / Q32 instruments as possible) out there ASAP, with little or no competition, to establish our first mover advantage.

We will create our own standards of accuracy and ease of use.

A whole new income stream.

We are leaving them in the dust of our slipstream, and I'm sure they absolutely hate eating dirt.

I don't know to what extent the British and French Govnt legislation will deter a foreign buyer, they may try a get-around merger instead.

Anything to get on board this boxfull of IP, know-how, ideas and income stream jammed in top gear.

We can establish a fairer sp value faster than 10 months.
I believe it's a fair assumption that the next financial news, - something which will have an effect on the sp lasting more than one day - would be clarification of phase 2 or it's successor agreement.

We know discussions are in hand, and these are the symptoms:
hiring more staff to run a new contract - yes,
intercepted tweet about rollout of PROmate in NHS North - yes,
Surge testing, - SNPsig in use, - yes.
Slight possibility of more symptoms available in Friday's discussions.

If one contract does not proceed as previously announced (Sept 2020), the successor agreement must be publically communicated.

If I'm right this is the next (overdue) financial news.
- Shouldn't be too long, but you are right, patience - (Porky) will be necessary.

Every specialist in every community suffers with the situation you have highlighted.

I monitored the health of aero-engines using gas turbine engine parameters captured in different flight phases for a living.

Even my work colleagues thought it a 'dark-art', and I was forever reminding them of the basics.

Posters on this board value your contacts for feedback, - for which you have been invaluable - and your interpretive skills when information is sometimes hard to make sense of.

So I would say humour those who have at least half an idea, and are willing to contribute their research findings and financial acumen here, and ignore the rest.

The good news is that GM has at last given us further product development info, and with time we'll get the sales and finance stuff as well, with which to build a more complete picture.

I don't think it's necessarily a problem per se.
Having invented something once, you could probably do it again using better processes with more modern materials etc, developing a better more efficient product.
You may also now have the target instrument in mind, (Q series).
Nothing of value is lost, - I bet GM could put his hand on the development notes :)
