PROmate was announced in the 16.11.2020 R&D update RNS.

From 29.09.2020 RNS:
"Under the terms of the contract, which is in two phases, Primerdesign will supply its products to the DHSC for up to six months. Phase one has an initial fixed term of 14 weeks with the potential to extend supply by a further 10 weeks. This first phase of the contract will involve the immediate deployment of 300 PCR instruments, related kits and support services with a minimum value of £150 million for the first 14 weeks. Based on this initial period, a further £100 million of revenue could be expected for the subsequent 10 weeks, however volumes can be varied up or down subject to certain notice criteria given by the DHSC.

The second phase of the contract, which is optional by the DHSC, allows for the provision of up to 700 additional PCR instruments, related kits and support services, as well as additional COVID-19 products from the Company's portfolio where required. "

Phase 2 stated 'as well as additional COVID-19 products from the Company's portfolio where required' but not phase 1.

I'm sure GM would have offered new products from the Company's portfolio (PROmate), if it assists to get phase 2 signed.

The above shows a way NCYT could be honouring the contract by providing 'additional COVID-19 products from the Company's portfolio where required', if phase 2 had been agreed.

Wouldn't it be just like GM to put this into the contract because he knew new products might become available in the timescales envisaged within this contract?

IMO, holding down the share price to these levels for a long period of time is all part of the MM plan to move shares from PI's for purchase by II's. I don't expect the sp to move significantly without big news.

Again very good article, containing a 06.01.2021 chart showing how many viral sequences have been uploaded to the GISAID database, (one of the sources for the Primerdesign team that check Primerdesigns tests can detect the virus 100%).

Just look at the difference between UK contributions and everyone else!

I sincerely hope that the situation has changed, else many mutations will have become endemic before detection in some countries.

If we are going to beat this virus, the RoW will need to step up to the mark.

The new SNPsig products, and the All-in-One VARIPLEX soon to be launched, is just the start of Primerdesigns virus hunting efforts, and the longer it takes for RoW to buck up the longer it will take for the virus to be controlled.

Every day we collect the current reports from the short registers of the various regulators in Europe.

We always use the most up-to-date information and are the only ones to publish it in one overview every day.

The short registers are updated by the national regulators in the context of Article 9 of the EU regulation No. 236/2012 . The implementation of this is such that short positions are reported to the local regulators with a one day delay. The regulators then make these positions public after the stock markets close. The reports in this morning note are therefore from the day before yesterday (and in some cases even before), but the most current that are available.

We are currently following the registers of the following countries:

The Netherlands (regulator AFM afm.nl )
Belgium (regulator FSMA fsma.be )
The United Kingdom (FCA regulator, fca.org.uk )
France (regulator AMF amf-france.org )
Germany (supervision via the Bundesanzeiger bundesanzeiger.de )

Investors weren't in the mood for a minimalist offering, their expectation was that it was their right to access much more information than was provided after waiting so long.

I think GM's response to this demand would be that there is so much news in the pipeline, none of it expected to be bad, that the sp rise will soon dissipate the shadow of an RNS with insufficient PR.

Indeed the SNPsig news came right out of left field, announcing another income stream hunting virus mutations.

Let the news and the sp do the talking, and there won't be any problems with investor sentiment.

IMO all will be well with DHSC phase 1 extension and phase 2.

NHS will have to take on more mobile labs, as there is insufficient lab space for 700 more instruments.

"International passenger demand was down by 75%, domestic demand by nearly half.
Air cargo fared better with the decline limited to 10%. That is making it a revenue lifeline for many airlines and routes.
But the overall point to make on 2020 is that it saw the biggest fall in demand ever. And any recovery stalled in November.
Our forecast is for traffic to return to half of 2019 levels in 2021. But the proliferation of restrictions on travel that we have seen since the beginning of the year could make even that modest outlook very challenging. Brian’s “variant” scenario demonstrates how the downside risk to the forecast could limit recovery to 38% of 2019 levels. That would make a tough year even tougher."

The more I read about the amount of the September 28th DHSC contract that can be placed in 2020, and consequently how much product we sold overseas, the more I think the Broker forecasts being fairly accurate was just a fluke.
