IMO it looks like the timescale for the plans Graham had to give the company Mid-Cap status, turned out to be too long for many board members. Two problems I can see that would have caused the resignation are:

1 DHSC dispute, - which has robbed us of much income we planned to receive, - which resulted in any plans Anthony Dyer might have for meaningful acquisition being unaffordable.

2 Board members being uncomfortable with Bourse listing, and not seeing progress toward a Nasdaq listing.

It might also be true that living in constant fear of a cheap buyout was a contributory factor to board members unease, or that it looks like the DHSC dispute might not be ending in our favour.

Sales by Major Product (Best Estimate) for Covid-HT tests - Jul to Dec 2020 = 8.70 Euros each.
Using the 0.87 Euro / GBP exchange rate used in spreadsheet calcs:
= £7.57 each test.

Note 1: Validity of Best estimate 8.70 Euros unknown, but used now, because of it's provenance.

Therefore sales of 3.8 million * £7.57 Covid-HT tests generated income of £28.77 million (best estimate).

It is the EUA approval for the 'CDC 2019-nCoV Real-Time RT-PCR Diagnostic Panel' assay which is to be revoked as of 31.12.2021.

Hope this clarifies a few things, VERY misleading :-)

One option to GM is a US based partnership that makes the Winterplex EUA application in conjunction with Novacyt.
That would assist with any distribution issues, but reduces margin.

The option is open to seek EUA approval for Winterplex for SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A/B viruses only (ie not RSV as well), if that is the only tests that the FDA want as part of their multiplex requirement.
It would not be logical, but if there is a FDA requirement, lets just meet - not exceed - the requirement.

Here is pretty much the rest of the article for info:
"The new CDC test is the third assay with the ability to detect and differentiate SARS-CoV-2 and influenza A/B viruses to receive FDA EUA. Qiagen and BioMérieux's BioFire Diagnostics both previously received FDA EUA for RT-PCR-based multiplex respiratory panels that include these targets among 20 total viral and bacterial pathogens known to cause serious respiratory disease."
