IT-IS instruments have been marketed as ideal for use in a point of care environment.

If we report Group Revenue as poor as this again, like we saw in Thursday's RNS, - these distributors will begin distributing for others, - probably competitors. Why stick around?
I assume distributors prices are dictated by Novacyt head office, so why employ people to sell goods with a large price ticket.

'If you look further ahead we are calling on a figure of £100 million of revenue in 5 years and just to be clear this does not include any acquisition activity.
This is organic growth, acquisitions of course may accelerate that target, may make it bigger, - acquisitions are difficult to predict, but the £100 million is an organic number.'

For me, product pricing would be the place to review where things are going wrong, we don't lack sales staff.
The best sales staff have trouble selling when prices are too high.

The last RNS is a really poor 'starter for ten' for £100 million revenue by 2026.

We have been trying to do this since March 2021.
This dispute has been progressed at the speed the DHSC were happy with.
Both sides will settle this disagreement (in or out of court), but we won't be steamrollered.
We will receive what we are owed, I'm 50-50 about any interest repayment.

22.06.2021 - "Group gross margin continued to improve, increasing to 76.3% in 2020 from 64.0% in 2019"

There are other 'gross margin' data available in earlier RNS's.

The above shows me that prices remain high (at least up to 25.01.22).

Therefore the reason sales are low is because pricing of products is not competitive.

I looks like we now employ many sales people, who are nor selling as pricing is too high.

Does anybody have a different take on this please?

This is his only share purchase until today.

If JW bought, there is something in it for him soon IMO.

James McCarthy - same day, - even more disappointing, - no hint of how it will be achieved:

Nothing to discuss, and a few hot heads get their kicks taking chunks out of the LTH's.
Yesterdays posts, now deleted, are what happens on bulletin boards when there is a total vacuum of information from BoD.

Each shareholder is expected to put up with this scenario, whilst seeing the value of their investments dwindle week on week.

From the 'Investor Meet' meeting shareholder question 4 was

"How do you anticipate increasing institutional support in the business, and is this important to you?"

James McCarthy answers: "The first thing is to acknowledge and thank the existing retail shareholder base, we are conscious of the twists and turns along the way, it hasn’t been an easy ride.
I think institutional investors, - yes it’s desirable, it’s something I think the strategy will attract, So part of the strategy - giving all future investors more certainty about where we are going to invest our money how big a business we think we can grow, - our right to succeed in the chosen areas we compete, - that’s part of building the strategy and the story and I think and hope it will attract institutional investors and reward existing shareholders, that’s clearly a priority."

With the sp dropping from £11 to £1.50, it would be in the BoD's best interests to try to steady the sp by putting effort into attracting II's.
That would mitigate some of the sp movement - but no such effort is visible.
What would be their chances of success when so little information is released?

No info = no II investment = more sp damage.

The AGM provides the only point where shareholders are required to validate the proceedings by registering / voting in sufficient numbers.

We should not be registering/voting, and using those missing votes to send a message to the BoD that their way of leading a business is not a way that is recognised as being successful by any shareholders who's funds are locked up in this sp vortex.

GM went quiet and DA has never been vocal, common theme - James Wakefield.

Sort out the comms James, PI's are unhappy and you have few II's, one reducing their holding just yesterday, possibly for the same reason.

Mandy please share this with JW, we know you monitor this board.

If poly are so important here why have they not pushed for a seat on the BoD?

I don't think Poly have any interest in the company or it's prospects beyond getting their price for the shares they hold.
IMO if/when the P3 trial is agreed, Poly will become more interested in finding a new home for their shareholding.

I don't see them having the patience / wanting to take the risk of seeing that P3 trial to conclusion.

There are still those who will want to bury their head to the realities mapped out in this article, so I hope Sajid Javid and his senior civil servants realise the full impact of the threat BA4 / BA5 and beyond pose, and act accordingly.

I feel NCYT's genome sequencing team could add value by providing visibility of the nature of the next variants, providing time to prepare for the threats these variant pose, and embedding further the Novacyt assays and LFT capabilities into UKHSA when our products to deal with future variants become available.

Let's hope we can end the dispute with DHSC as amicably as possible ASAP, but not by accepting less than we are owed by DHSC.
We have been impaired severely by this dispute, and we must have justice in full measure.
