Unfortunately. I think all that’s happening is that the company is doing slightly better than the market had anticipated. That’s now in the price, after the latest update. Hopefully it can still surprise to the upside.

Looks like good news. But many on here were saying it was great news that no directors had been buying. It meant something was brewing. What now?

Our CEO isn’t Public Company CEO material. That’s what’s been the problem. He can’t help himself from behaving like a petulant child. He surrounds himself with yes men. He needs to either take this private himself, or he needs to endear himself to some PE outfit, that will be willing to bid and keep him on.

Otherwise, we will be stuck here forever.

Further to what I said earlier, today was fast money that got in prior to the update, getting out.

I do believe that today was the final shake out.

(Or as MM’s new Middle East buddies would say Sheikh out).

We had a run up to yesterday’s trading update. I’m sure some hot money got in ahead of it. THG very leaky. They’re just getting out. Normal service will resume once the dust has settled.

About 18 months ago MM said he would give up the GS. He didn’t go through with it. He didn’t want to lose the company “on the cheap”. He reneged on a promise, thus protecting himself, the company and the shareholders. This time he has gone through with it.

Presumably because either he intends to be the one to buy the company “on the cheap” or someone else will buy it “not on the cheap”.

We will have to wait and see which, but one of those is nailed on.
