There are 2 scenarios I can see here, wait until things are nearly certain (in 1-2 years time) and make 30% by investing for 2-3 months or do your due diligence, quantify the risks and make the call and make potentially 600% (you just have to wait a bit longer (2-3 years), everyone finds their own path...

Just saw this on Simply Wall St;

Seems like a positive thing, someone is seeing the underappreciated value here...

I am sure it would pin the price until the volume has moved thru, might take til the end of the month unless volume picks up a look in the interim.

Brom, well reading this article it seems like they are using data and information from Energy Policy Research Foundation, or EPRINC, these guys are clearly funded by the Oil and Gas industry to smear any other form of energy, I am an investor in TXP because I believe Oil & Gas should be part of the energy transition and will have a part to play beyond net zero too but these guys clearly want to keep O&G forever and don't care about what happens to our world in the coming decades. This paragraph from the article sums up for me that this is a smear peace for renawables and EPRINC are O&G funded and not impartial in this transition :-)

If it is he only sold 7% of his holdings, I take it this was for personal reasons (house, car, or medical) don't think it really says he has no faith just needed the cash right now, still hold 93% of his holdings...

Not really sure there is a downside here, once we get the Q3 numbers in early November that should shore things up, if we see some analyst way in following the UK investor briefings could move things before then. Other than that I think the next time after that will be the mid-December release of the 5 year plan for the company. All in all, I think the price pressure we are seeing is the people who thought it was just gonna run straight away on Cascadura news selling out and anyone wanting to buy in getting a discount, short term pain but mid to long term gonna be a multi-bagger...

Aspirations to join the FTSE 250 with the knowledge and acreage they have is not some day to day stock price it is the direction of travel I am talking about, the 4 x the current share price based on valuation is what’s key, not some piddly 7% of holdings directors share sale :-)

We cannot know why he sold, could be a simple as he wanted to buy a house or a yacht and had plenty of other shares in this and other companies but understand how poor a time this is...
