Just to put Q3 into perspective some milestones from Simply Wall St on TXP;

Third quarter 2023 results:

- Revenue: US$8.51m (up 30% from 3Q 2022).

- Net income: US$988.0k (up US$1.77m from 3Q 2022).

- Profit margin: 12% (up from net loss in 3Q 2022). The move to profitability was driven by higher revenue.

- Revenue is forecast to grow 69% p.a. on average during the next 3 years, compared to a 1.7% decline forecast for the Oil and Gas industry in the United Kingdom.

Over the last 3 years on average, earnings per share has increased by 76% per year but the company’s share price has fallen by 24% per year, which means it is significantly lagging earnings.

Forward looking situation;

- Trading at 83.8% below our estimate of its fair value

- Earnings are forecast to grow 100.14% per year

- Analysts in good agreement that stock price will rise by 151.9%

Well that was a whole heap of nothing day, virtually no volume and no reaction, suppose we will have to see if the Investor Update tomorrow at 16:00 has any more results :-)

So we are halted, so no getting out until the news it seems...

Reality is the company maybe viewing this as an opportunity they cannot pass up, while I understand concerns about ability to buy into anything significant with the current cash and dilution state, we have no option but to wait and see.

88E feels different from the past management team and maybe this deal is the future of the company and thereby it's stock, I say lets give them this chance to show the vision and what it can do for the stock :-)

Results on Tues will show the colour of their money, that will be the deciding point...

Lets hope their Q4 guidance give stron and specific details so the people who need to see the blindingly obvious get the message :-)

Couldn't agree less, the Q3 numbers are needed to move us from Explorer to Producer, the analysts will pick up on this change and are likely to raise their position and price on TXP accordingly. While some things maybe known, their is a big difference between knowing something and seeing it on an audited balance sheet, just my 2c's worth :-)

Clearly no belief in the reality here, the $4M per month is gonna blow out of the water last years earnings and yet it would seem we have to wait until results on Tues 14th November for anyone to believe that Q3 will be good (with only 2-3 weeks of production) and Q4 (with a full Qtr of production) will be awesome :-)

what has the past to do with the future, each well dug is as potentially viable, potentially more so as the information they are based on is higher quality every year...

Aligator, for anyone following the stock TXP has been on life support from Qtr to Qtr until the recent drill and production coming online, with the release of the results on Tuesday the 14th November, the books will show the YoY turnaround and the beginning of the 'wall of cash' that is coming, you can be in before this becomes common knowledge as these silly low prices or buy into a wall of other buys as the price rises after earnings, some people are voting with their cheque books ahead of the game :-)

Yes I think the this coming Thurs the 9th November looks like a good candidate, lets see how this performs up to the wire.

Reality is this is the 1st results we will see to do with 'the wall of cash' and while it is only a few weeks worth should still blow the YoY numbers right up!

So looks like last years Q3 results were on the Thu 10th November, so likely to be the Thu 9th November this year, anyone any long term experience to know if they pretty much stick to the same week in November or not?

Dave, I believe with their new found $4M per month they are looking to pull together a strategic plan surrounding their existing active wells and their prospective next few Qtrs, the last I heard they were looking to share this mid to long term plan in mid December '23...

Only painful if you were looking to sell, just attrition waiting for next big news, then will pop again :-)

Smasher agreed, simply the case we are priced like an explorer when we need to be priced like a producer, 3x difference is the upside that is just waiting to happen :-)

The major oil companies seem to be looking to invest in existing fields that can deliver to the bottom line without doing the longer term investigative drilling work, this will certainly make things interesting for those producing oil assets around the world, one day eh :-)

Polly going all in takes a lot of belief, while I admire the attitude, there's many a slip twixt cup and lip, I would suggest maybe deciding what the 5 key future events are and as each milestone is reached take another 20% in, just a suggestion, no one knows really what may happen over the next 2 years until this becomes truly commercial :-)
