The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Well clearly summary is not Scots forte, so many digs at 88E and all glory to PANR, I think it is clear the bias in the posts, jog on my friend, results will make your ‘facts’ irrelevant…
I would rather have quality over quantity, a lot of words does not make an argument any more 'factual' or right, the reality is Scots words are against and the upcoming drill is an unknown, we just have to wait and see and no amount of 'facts' posted about PANR or 88E will mean a hill of beans vs results ;-)
Yes of course relevant but in 3-6 months and a year the pricing is likely to be very different, at this point the stock price is reflecting that they have done all these deals at the lows whereas they are unlikely to sign priced agreements for another year ahead of full production, so no real concerns all we have is upside...
Key element from the article;
The reality is that short-term sentiment will be insufficient to undermine longer-term prospects for lithium in the world and lithium in batteries in particular. Mine capacity is insufficient for demand two to three years out, and current low prices will ensure marginal projects will not achieve funding.
Well another week another presentation from Cleantech Lithium, this Wednesday 7th at 18:00GMT, sign up here...

Just my quick summary, anyone got any more thoughts or elements I missed? GLTA
... the only thing that really matters right now is whether this is a duster or has decent flows, lets not get into who is the longest holding shareholder contest please...
Clearly with the current Lithium price being low due to short term oversupply it will have downward pressure on the stock price, the global lithium analysts believe this will be a 1st half issue, so we can expect much help from that, I think the next news should come soon and hopefully we will have the CEOL announcement too in the 1st Qtr, each month that passes we come closer to production, it is only a matter of time before the SP responds by rising back to fair value...
While there maybe no shortage of Lithium a lot of the producers have a cost base per ton of over $8k whereas CTL is saying they can produce a ton for between $4-5k per ton, clearly they will be able to produce at a profit while other Lithium mineral miners are at a loss making level...
Sorry that was stated as lithium price of £20k should have been $20k, my bad!
Ps. according to Lithium industry analysts the current low lithium price is meant to bottom out during the 1st half of FY24 and then return to more normalised levels £20K + towards the end of FY24 as supplies weaken based on traditional mines reducing or stopping production due to not being able to achieve the same low production costs that CTL can maintain with then DLE process...
Expect RNS next week, should be the first of a number of announcements in the coming months, would highly recommend people who owns shares get onto the mailing and follow these seminars, next event will be ASX updates and next 12/24 months approach...

Well Scot just to just to paraphrase as well PANR were clear that they don't believe 10c per barrel in the ground was a reasonable valuation for their assets and they referred to a previous deal that had completed for $3 per barrel in the ground at that was with the oil price substantially below the current $74 per barrel :-)
Additionally while PANR maybe heading towards commercial production, they are not expecting this until the FY25 themselves... So it's clear that clear catalysts are tricky for both stocks...
PANR just mentioned 88E drilling Hickory in mid-February '24 as helpful to them confirming the fields viability level...
Thanks Scott will check it out, always good to keep an eye on the neighbours (even if it's just for the weather forecast :-)
Forget that, just noticed this video is 4 months old, doh :-)
Interesting Aldo says while they haven't had direct CEOL response they have had positive feedback from the Chilean Department of Mining, Treasury, ENAMI and Finance, so while this is not the CEOL it sounds so far supportive!
Just seen a new note from Shore Capitals Craig Howis has been published on Research Tree, anyone got access to this that can update the board?

Drilling Update at Laguna Verde - 22nd January 2024
CleanTech Lithium PLC (AIM:CTL, Frankfurt:T2N, OTCQX:CTLHF), an exploration and development company advancing lithium projects in Chile, confirms the drilling of the second well has started in the recently commenced drilling programme at Laguna Verde.
Two drill rigs are now operating simultaneously with the first well already reaching a depth of 300 metres and samples being collected for analysis. The drilling programme at Laguna Verde aims to convert resources into reserves, to upgrade the existing JORC resource estimate of 1.8 million tonnes of lithium carbonate equivalent (LCE) and further establish the commercial opportunity for CTL's brine-based lithium project.
Highlights:
· First well LV07 started on 4th January and to date has reached 300 metres of the target 730 metres, the deepest target depth drilled at the project
· Second well LV11 started on 17th January with a targeted depth of 550 metres
· Two drill rigs are now operating simultaneously and running 24 hours a day to accelerate the drilling programme
· The programme has been designed in collaboration with Montgomery & Associates, a leading hydrogeology and resource evaluation consultancy
· Results from the drilling and planned pump test and reinjection tests will be reported to the market on an ongoing basis during 1H 2024
· Generation of updated JORC reserve report is targeted for July 2024
