The worst that could happen is the £500m being raised by placing.
But the 3 billion do need to be raised with senior debt. There is no way around it.
I am not even so concerned about the banks giving the cash, but its been a long time since we heard a peep out of IPA.

Since the the SP is not grounded by fundamentals, assets or progress of any kind, it may as well go to 0.

This always goes lower than you think it will.
Where is the value of the st1, torps and construction progress in this SP? Like they never happened.
All these achievements apparently accounting for nothing.

I wonder why they keep making these regular small incremental increases as the SP goes lower. Would have expected the opposite to happen.
If they were so sure it was going lower, why didnt they throw the kitchen sink at it when it sat at 29p?

Casapinos, I feel that the market has already reacted as you have described. Sp has fallen 35% to accomodate the extra finance risk. Good that this is behind us now.

I'd prefer it if we just had a sudden 25% drop instead of this 2% down malarkey everyday.

Cherokee, I am sure in his later years, after having made his riches he did become that value investor we all associate with him.
But go back in time a little, his early years we filled with buying businesses that were on the brink for cheap, turning them around, and spinning them off for a healthy profit.

Warren buffet did not get to where he is by investing 2% of his capital in anyone share. And could people please stop addressing skier1. Its what he feeds on.

Jdeem, this share is just as much a "longers" dream. Remember, this share goes goes up, just as fast as it goes down. So to say this is a shorted dream is a very one sided statement.
Moreover at this point in time, when it is trading at a low level, you better have balls of steel if you want to go ahead and try and short it lower. Buy low, sell high anyone? Works in reverse for shorters.
If you think this is a high sp for this share, be my guest, short it. But dont get burnt. Dont say you've not been warned.

Uhmm, I wouldnt have thought so. Take the first year for instance. 3.5 billion debt, x 7% is 245 million in interest. Add 350 million capital repayment = 595 million. The next year will be less.
