If there is a placing then the best thing they can do is to announce it together with the bank commitment letters. But there will be upwards of ten lenders. I cant see that it could be done by Xmas. They won't be rushed.

RuSirius, possibly there were some poor decisions in the past. But I am not sure the BoD, and more specifically CF had much fun loosing millions of personal wealth over the last 4 weeks.
He will look after number 1, and his interest in a strong SP aligns in that of the PI's. For that reason I do think the BoD will keep shareholders good, eventually. Let us not forget what this company will be worth when it pulls 20mpa out of the ground, or even just 10mpa. You will be ok, even in the unlikely event that we had 10billion shares in issue by then.

Casapinos, the point is, maybe when we were in the 30's there was good reason to increase the shorts. But now we are in the mid 20's. Less potential for the sp to fall. So why increase the short?
The institutions have already made their profit on the way down. If they were risk averse, they would close the shorts.

I can answer that. The buys we see late, if indeed they were buys, didnt do jack to bolster the SP. They didnt do today, and they certainly wont tomorrow, as they are snow from yesterday.
I cannot call the sp tomorrow one way or another, but I can think to myself that we have fallen too far now, as we are a tad over two years from production, and about 3 months away from bank commitment RNS.
We have already had banks providing a positive response! They now need to review their position taking into consideration the additional capital. Hard to see why their stance on this investment would have altered just because we need a bit of additional change.

I agree its unlikely. But surely the sp is not pricing in a failure of st2? Failure of st2 is complete and total failure and an sp of 0?
