I agree a 10% + drop doesnt come from nowhere. There must have been a trigger. BUT, the fall was limited. If it was game over, we should have seen a bigger fall imo.

The move is too sudden. It has go to be based on something happening behind the scenes, and it doesn't look like it's in our favour.

Whether institutions are holding or not is a mute point really. I say that because they dont have any better odds at guessing if the bonds will get sold or not, than us. Unless they have a crystal ball.
The certainly didnt guess about bonds not getting sold in August.
Personally, I think they are gambling just like us. And therefore if they are holding or not, has no bearing on the bonds getting sold on acceptable terms.

I thought the bonds would most likely be brought back beginning of September because leaving it to the end of the month would leave our cash reserves very short. After yesterday I think market conditions are worse than they were when the bonds were first pulled!
This leaves me hoping that they will improve in the next 3 weeks, but trump and China can continue they beef for much longer than we can stay solvent....

Yep, it's really not getting any better. That's why I am surprise we hold on at a high level today.
