Metastases require targeted drug delivery due to genetic diversity, protective microenvironments, and stromal interactions that promote drug resistance.
Standard drugs struggle to penetrate and remain effective, making precise targeting essential for treatment.

Standard dox isn’t effective against metastases. A targeted version is used, ie liposomal or doxil.
The targeted dose needs to be higher than what can be delivered systemically, I.e. bang for buck can’t be delivered using naked dox.
Naked dox is not effective enough.

90% of patients in the metastatic setting, die. Its presence has a huge impact on outcomes. To overcome requires;
💉High specificity
💉High intratumoral dose
AVA6000 destroys metastases. Therefore, delivers high amounts of dox to the tumour, specifically.

The fact metastases contain more CAFs than the primary legion, highlights the effectiveness of AVA6000s MoA.
