I mean, what is supposed to happen from now on? The core IP is derisked regarding safety, which is a selling point, and the IP has been proven adaptable to virtually any agent. Does anyone expect some gradual development in SP now? When just a single player has made up his mind and presents a to-offer, the SP will go immediately ballistically, and that's about it. Whatever might happen before is not foreseeable with the same degree of certainty as how the story will end, and trying to gauge the minutiae is not worth the risk of suddenly being out for good with no re-entrance queue."

It doesn't matter, but this all-too-transparent attempt to shape the sentiment regarding British research-stage biotech Avacta is quite nauseating. All the feeble and dishonest drivel by obvious sock-puppets or bots is through and through nasty. Nothing has changed for good or worse, and suddenly out of the woodwork arises this cacophony drawing on any low-IQ manipulative rhetorical stint in the book in trying to create a sentiment of urgency and despair while being heartwarmingly full of such caring in saving unknown fellow PIs from taking a book loss. While many exuberant optimists deserve the benefit of the doubt regarding their honest conviction, none of their ugly mirror images do. They'd better stop caring about other people's fortunes and act according to their conclusions. The danger zone lies well past this British dark horse; from here on, only patience separates the shareholders from whatever magnitude of windfall might result. Every one of those stunts to cash in on a sentiment-driven SP-drop gets more risky over time, so not to be considered advice, but my conclusion is an inverse risk-reward ratio between trading down and holding tight over time. Avacta is quite a binary play that will end suddenly and then hardly be tradable. Without insider information, one should decide and be either in or out. That also might explain why some with insight behind the publicly available information tend to keep silent the closer the culmination point gets.

I had the pleasure of speaking at the Euresa Prevention Seminar hosted by Matmut in Rouen, France – a gathering of mutual insurers from across Europe to exchange insights on prevention strategies, customer engagement, and business models that make prevention work in practice.
