Jeffries had AO World at 400p last year. Today 41.9p after a keep the lights on placing at 43p ouch !
Jeffries have Capricorn at 265p when I think the offer was 3.8 X TLW shares today worth 44p
Jeffries have Tullow at 77p X 3.8 is 292p value for Capricorn which they just valued at 265p ?
Barclays reckon HOC is now worth 140p they will be currently mining Silver at a loss so 81p today is more of a fair shout.

Although showing a build in todays figures I like these numbers from the EIA release,

Total Stocks (Including SPR).......... 1,677.8 change from last year 1,889.7 down by -211.9 or -11.2%
Total Stocks (Excluding SPR)........... 1,185.8 change from last year 1,180.6 down by -82.6 or -6.5%

I agree but 3.46% total stock on loan I don't think is a large amount. Its total stock on loan not net short. Our actual net short position held could be close to zero.
More puzzling ( aside from Ammu's secret fund ) is why there is 9.33% stock on loan on HBR. Nat gas is up another 15% today and Q4 is now over £4.40 a therm although they do have over half hedged at 50.7p !

We seem to have picked up some stock on loan in the month of June up to 3.46% from 2.86% at end May.
But not as much as TLW who's stock on loan position increased to 9.22% up from 3.72% the month before. This is likely to do with the proposed merger with Capricorn Energy / Cairn. I see Odey has increased his short on Tullow.
The biggest stock on loan position has to be HBR up to 9.33% from 9.24% the month before, on a multi billion market cap that is quite some short !
I would think at 20p and change and with Zahawi as chancellor some of our shorts might like to close this week?

The only problem with Gold and Silver miners right now is the AISIC are going to be really high. If you are in a low cost producer then should be ok. Just something to work out. Look for any fuel hedging in place this year if you are awaiting results.

Thanks for posting that, it would be easier for him just to scrap it and not bother trying to get it through to law. They have much more increased tax revenue with the higher price of fuel anyway

Biden is mulling a windfall tax also and OXY is up over 93 % only $10 off the yearly high and $37 above the yearly low !
