How do they ( Harbour ) know exactly what Cap Ex, Op Ex and Decom will be offsetable against the EPL.
There must be some guidance notes for the companies finance depts ?
As far as I know nothing specific has been made public especially on the existing wells Cap Ex and Op Ex.

There are some comparable and possibly better Tonics out there but Schweppes is definitely not one of them !
You are correct with your view a company that makes a type of lemonade could never be a good investment. In 1982 the Coca Cola group share price was 76 cents today it is $62.50. Pepsi Co share price in 1982 was $2.17 today it is $171.12.
With deep pockets and big marketing budgets I would think both of these would be likely suitors for Fevertree

You have to have some sell side analysis otherwise the brokers and market makers don't make any money. Either that or he mixed up gross debt year end for current net debt and got his $ and £ the wrong way around.

your new figures are also wrong. Just wow, Also the historic tax losses cannot be used against the Energy Profits Levy so Enquest will definitely be be paying some tax to the Treasury we just don't know how much...hence 22p share price.

'earnings vs market cap + debt' Do you mean Enterprise Value ? What a great idea, approx Enquest EV probably $1.44 Billion today if that helps with your metrics.

Ok I will agree with you its highly possible Goldman or any other entity could be short ( short term ) whilst having a long term bullish position on Oil. Although I think right now they would be very careful with such shorts as we have never had such a bullish set up, COP 26 climate under investment, Russia, OPEC.

Berkshire bought a further $250m on Occidental stock its reported this week ( 13 July 22 ) , now holding stock worth $10.4 Billion plus the $10 Billion in Occidental preferred stock it already owns.

So just to get this straight you think Goldman are 'spoofing' the market with a fake Bullish case when they are in fact bearishly positioned, and are quite happy for their Global Head of Commodities Research Jeff Currie to go on record on their own website, write Investment pieces for its clients, Bloomberg, Reuters, CNBC and the like saying so ?

At $250 a barrel there will be civil unrest the world over and quite possibly another war.. hardy calm !

I am not saying a spike to $200 -$250 can't happen but be careful what you wish for.

I wish I knew the answer to that, I guess it depends what or who it was.

Because it was a worked trade like the other large one over 1.5m shares this afternoon. We might see a matched trade after hours or the MMs have been sitting on it for a while and just managed to put it through today at those times.
