Odey bought back his short yesterday at around 2.13p Who knows what will happen but I don't see much point buying in now. Have a look at Enquest just off loaded a tanker full 13m draft so should be 600k barrels meaning Kraken has averaged 37kbpd even with the problems ! DC4 is now online so production could be a full tilt 40-50kbpd

Highest I was offered was 3.66. I took 3.5 and am out. If anyone is tempted to buy in today I think its all tactics and would be surprised if Ashley will bid due to the debts, pensions and very expensive fixed cost store leases.

My opinion is that it is still a tactic. Ashley doesn't want the debt, pensions and lease liabilities. But he also doesn't want his stake to be wiped out. I don't think he will make good on his offer.
Might be best to wait and see what the shorts do.
