I looked at Thomas Cook at 30 then 15 then 10.7 decided against. The profit made there is just shorts profit taking INMHO if they load up again ( which they will ) then its all over.

I think its worth noting the dollar to pound has been improving currently $1.26 as we get paid in US Dollars thats more £s per barrel sold !

Was the Cairn impairment not based on 2018 average production being under 40-50kbpd ?

Cairn only have 20% of Catcher so 13.2kbpd net to Cairn
They have 29.5% of Kraken so to be within guidance they only need Kraken at 25kpbd average.
The reserves downgrade was a total 'kitchen sinking' with the $1b downgrade from India.
They also took there bonus shares at the price after this down grade so they have lots more cheap shares and all probability of mostly good news and performance.

Just done some digging, looks like the Norwegian Sovereign Wealth Fund only had $6million invested here in 2015 $17m the year before and a peak of $68million in 2013. Its showing 0 Million USD in 2016 17 and 2018,
So its not them selling here.
It shows they held $12M USD in Premier Oil in 2018

The market seems to be valuing us similarly to Thomas Cook Group ( both market cap and enterprise value ) who have just made a large loss with a huge impairment and debt increasing by £800m this year !
