No they won't be in talks re a sale. Any offer will be predatory. They could be in talks about Uganda sale which would mean no director buys.

I agree but don't you think if that were happening it would explain the severe and rapid 70% drop.
As I posted on here Hargreaves suggested pre-market pointed to a 10% lower opening that day !

I meant the proper shorts held from around the £2 range, think the stock on loan was about 2.7% from memory. I would expect them to wait for M&G and others selling. I mean whats the hurry its other peoples money and their bonuses are already looking good.

I would also suppose that M&G will have or will be dumping their full 5.89% probably due to 3rd profit/ production warning changing the risk profile of their holding.

I bet the shorts haven't even closed yet !

If we were going to play the high risk game, I think Metro is possibly slightly higher risk than Tullow.

As you know a sale for Ghana assets was agreed for more than current market cap.

Not dissimilar accept the high sulphur. They haven't given the market more details yet so the market has priced it as non-commercial in my view ( supported by the price action )
So as far as we know and until we hear otherwise it is not the same as Kraken.

If you do a bit of research you will find that high sulphur trades at a discount, so its far from worthless. Tullow might decide its not worth extracting and better to go for other more profitable drills on its already owned licenses. That is what is being looked at by some specialists in heavy oil extraction right now.

Got any numbers to substantiate your claim that TLW can't service its debt ? They are currently doing 87kbpd, and this year were paying a 100m a year divi !

The spread has been moved all over the place sometimes up to 6% wide, some trades are on NEX some on LSE. Buying / selling of the same stock in my view is whats been happening plus approx 900,000 shares shorted per month. Nothing is as it seems !
