Well there is adnoc and quite possibly some private equity like Apollo who are apparently interested in Castrol.

Just a hunch but I wonder if a consortium who want to split up different parts between them/ or just share risk might be interested.

I spoke to some ad types about this a few weeks ago, admittedly they were mostly in medical, although one was a head creative. They said they weren't worried about AI taking their jobs but they have been on courses on how to use AI to help them in their work. So I guess in the future it could mean smaller more streamlined teams ( less project managers for example )

'British fighter jets shot down "a number of drones" fired at Israel from Iran, Prime Minister Rishi Sunak said.

The UK was one of several countries, including the US, which helped counter Iran's unprecedented attack - its first ever direct strike on Israeli soil.

Additional RAF jets were deployed over Iraq and Syria, not Israel, the Ministry of Defence (MoD) said.

Mr Sunak, who condemned Iran's "reckless attack", will join G7 leaders on Sunday to discuss next steps.

Speaking to journalists in Downing Street, Mr Sunak said if Iran's attack on Israel been successful "the fallout for regional stability would be hard to overstate".

BP is more highly leveraged ( see Harbour Energy's drop this morning ) and also INMHO BP is being shorted for the takeout/ or break up.

Amazing Brent is only a tad under $70 and we took a short trip down under 13p.
