George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Bertram - same here. I would add that BT has so many shares out of circulation too.
What you describe is why there is a crusade against the never ending, repeating positivity, which doesn’t reflect the market of BT SP.
Not saying there aren’t positives, but would also like to be able to investigate the reasons which might reflect SP reality, without being jumped on for being anti BT or virgin media lover or any other nonsense.
Phat you know he’s joking? Right?
& I’m guessing the same bad news which drives the SP low, is the same bad news which means BT previously suspended dividends & stops share save schemes & I think free shares?
I think else can both see, what lil Rod (som) is trying to point out to you, it’s bad for everyone or at best not as good as it should be, when considering all the positivity
I make is 350,000 premises a month lil Rod. I believe the target sets us 25,000,000 premises not the 34 million total premises in the UK. Not sure what the plan is for the remaining 9 million. ( If I wan an altnet, I would be talking to BT about those) a’la Kingston cable.
9 Million premises BT are not planning might be a better business case than the one they have.
Last time I saw the number of premises past, I thought BT would definitely need to speed up to deliver on time. Assume where they have been competing with cable / altnets the areas they have been building out might be some of the easiest / quickest ( assuming this is where other companies would choose to start ……..
On book / off book. It’s the symmetry that draws my eye. Maybe there is a reason translations would be broken down into 1 equal parts ? No idea ? So I was assuming they could be same shares in / out, back and forth ?
Will have to do a google
I try not to but these are the actual facts
Quote from reliable press
“PARIS, Aug 8 (Reuters) - French-Israeli billionaire Patrick Drahi is facing renewed questions over the $60 billion pile of debt that allowed him to build his media and telecoms empire, ”
We all talk about BT’s dept of circa $30 billion.
Drahi is BT’s largest share holder, it’s not negative to wonder whether he can sustain his position after cheap debt era has ended & the potential turmoil which could come about if he cannot, or even if he wants too?
I would guess his position in BT is noe more difficult that lil Rods assuming he was buying in the 1.60 - 1.80 area & 1.30 - 1.40 ?
& I really don’t need over excited posters to re-run plans to switch off tdm, close buildings & sack staff. I already know that, I’m talking about now
Abject …. Honestly I think it’s humour & secondly I feel his pain, it’s not “every time “ someone says something positive, it’s the constant repeating of everything positive & it’s other way round, when BT’s reality (undeniable at £1.12) who get jumped on. Bit like you just did
Lil Rod writes well, good gramma. He is a clever (insert pronoun). He doesn’t mix up “their” & “there’s” or “witch “ & “which” like the rest of us.
It’s clear to me everything is working well & to be honest, I’m between what I read as playful humour, is nailing it recently
I’m pretty sure it’s humour & I quite enjoy trying to spot the message in between,
Otherwise they really are drug induced rants, in which case we should all try to be a bit more inclusive.
BTW if you google brexit, you will be promised cheap food and shoes & something about them needing us more than we need them & something about taking back control & something about borders
Lil Rod is seriously delivering. He is right again. If he was wrong, share price would be climbing. Why are investors only prepared to pay £1.12?
I would presume because there is concern for the future and what will actually happen next.
It’s not being a detractor to recognise this simple reality.
Poker et al’ - The BT share price is less in actual money than in 1986.
Can anyone see how that fact reflects in the constant, unending, always repeating positivity reflected in Fleccy’s posts?
It’s a constant barrage. It’s virtually a takeover of this board. Can anyone find a thread where Fleccy doesn’t blunder in with his ridiculous view of the world according to Fleccy?
It’s impossible to have a grown up conversation about the head winds and possible head winds in front of BT which do reflect the share price, without Fleccy jumping all over the conversation with the same essays of positivity (which you would have to be an idiot to Not think there are downsides, check SP)
Often genuine posters get accused of negativity or being anti BT. It’s ridiculous
Unending messages of positivity which don’t reflect reality are equally as bad as genuinely anti BT people sharing their venom.
It’s not unreasonable to expect genuine counter discussions which reflect reality of this SP without being drowned in Fleccy world. Some people like it because they want their bias confirmed
There is a lot to be positive about in one of BT’s futures, it would be good to have grown up conversations about why it’s not working out right now.
That you’re creepy ? Has to be your answer.
Although I’m guessing your actual answer is, something you read from bt about fibre being great, buildings closing, TDM / PSTN switch off something about not debt something something something, no balance something.
Even wanting to count characters of someone else’s post is creepy. What’s wrong with you?
CCCCCRRRRRRRRIIIINNNNGGGGEEEEEE!!!
Is it a bad case of poor programming or Dunning Kruger? It’s very odd to keep repeating a mediocre career as proof of anything.
& as if counting the characters of anyone else’s post (in what ever way). Is okay? It really isn’t it’s super, super creepy.
Bless you NDN. Maybe invest in one of these, only another 2.5 years left before it all goes.
Speaker looks good though. Wow.

PPS - sorry didn’t mean to insult PBX guys, I should have said I was expecting a lecturer or super qualified engineer to be pushing so much technical advice on an hourly basis
Blimey wish I had time to count all those characters you’ve used to under-whelm me with your technical experience.
Private exchanges are where technicians usually go to die. Certainly not a place where you should be preaching “expertise” from on a daily basis.
PBX’s will have stacks too, for Q931, DASS, DPNSS, ETSI, maybe CAS or SIP. It’s the software / architecture that runs these protocols in the background.
Obviously you’re right, I know nothing of which I talk, completely unrelated industry and all that.
That’s pretty much all my questions answered confirmed. Be careful everyone where you get your info from would be my advice.
Anything else you need to know from a non personal perspective. No I’m not going to tell you how much money I have, how many shares I own, what my qualifications might be or post photos of myself. That would be plain silly.
Fleccy - how dare you count the characters from my conversations with lil Rod.
I can only assume somewhere in your programming of unrelenting optimism and repeat messaging, there is a subroutine which allows you to do this.
Can only assume you don’t know what a C7 stack is either?
Anyway Rod is nailing it today isn’t he? What ever his new nurse is doing for him, I do hope it can continue.
Fleccy - are there any threads on this site where you don’t rush to be heard. I can only assume the server you live in is maintenance free?
