the only way out of placing groundhog day is to strike big. tym have positioned themselves to do just that with two very impressive jv's that 'could' catapult the sp to the moon.

how else is the co supposed to fund activities?

the only option i can see is to put all other exploration( outside the jvs) on hold and hope for a strike. then, i a success scenario, do a raise muchmuch higher and carpet drill the **** out of the other assets

the big daddy projects Konkola west and Mukai (FQM) are ALREADY 100% third party funded. so no worries there.

additional funds, if they choose to are for additional drilling on TYMs 100 % owned projects.

worth noting Midnight Suns big zambian find today with FQM Same region as TYM projects 10% copper (yes 10 %) over 21 meters

The strength of the assets esp the two JVs with majors makes a strong case for a minimal if any discount on a future placing - at these levels.

The FQM tie up especially, makes this different gravy

SeisNAV , respect ur opinion mate. Ta. You said 2.2 billion shares minimum needs to be traded to clear the placing, of course that is if every share was to be sold. Which, imo, is unlikely. Some might like the story n hold, maybe even average down with buys.

But, thinking about it, ur point “that’s how the placing high net worth participants usually roll ( dump) “ makes sense, They then move onto the next placing with funds intact.

They’re not at all interested in the story, just a quick turnaround

You could well be largely right, although any still holding must surely now be “considering” a longer hold if they’re in loss even allowing for selling some at a profit

"if everything else is equal, after operating profit, then crl should do something like 1.5p eps in h1 on £1.5m operating profit. in 2021-2022 they were achieving better than £5m operating profit and 5.9p eps.

that’s a great turn around from the mess they got themselves into with emma hardy and perhaps pippa clarke is coming into her own here as ceo after bernard johnson had his crazy swan song into becoming an acquisition magnate and paying way over the top.

£23m mkt cap, decent assets, £2.2m net cash in july and they reinstated the divi after two years of no shareholder returns.

these are fully listed – not aim. everyone is looking for the next w7l – different business model but strong potential growth. watching the last presentation pippa clarke has reduced fixed costs by reducing factory footprint and creating a whole new production line from leftover sections of an old couple of other lines so they really have been cutting overheads and watching capital spend. they also got rid of the night shift and the emma hardy offices.

i sold most of my crl in my dash to cash, bought some back wednesday at just below where i sold and the rest back at a bit over where i sold so it works out as a little over where i sold in total. sometimes you make a mistake, but never compound it by not putting it right to avoid dented pride imo.

For what is a turnaround round stock this is an impressive indicator.

“The operating profit for the INTERIM period will be in excess of the FULL year operating profit before exceptionals of £1.5m for the year ended 31 March 2024.”

SO operating profit for 6 months beating previous 12 months of £1.5

Revenues were expected to be slightly stunted after Pippa cut the deadwood and started pushing new and profitable lines.
