Small clubs will always have to sell (look at Southampton!) but key is to get value.
Rumour is we paid £2m for Grant. We bought some right crap last year for £10m plus.

My concern on any positive news is that the value unlocked will be the preserve of the partner or funder.... and not the lowly PI

Lending for the rest (harbour, conveyor...etc) should’ve ‘easy’ post shaft.

CF must surely have had a plan C,D, E for funding. Some form of loose back up. Those non-executives must surely have insisted on it?? On the basis he didn’t he would definitely have been working on other plans from 1st Aug when he knew IB market was shot (that’s 11 weeks on this)
There will be no 100 days of sweaty palms, I reckon sign posting of news in the next week which allows 2-3 months to formalise While we continue to scale back operations.
I’m long from here but no news I the next week then I’ll take a huge hit and likely sell.

We do not know how much cash is needed to derisk.(not necessarily the £500M we were raising, maybe more, maybe less, maybe same) This is the cash needed to sink the shaft. All other activities could be slowed and reduced.
Yes this will cost a huge dilution or huge royalty AND will pushback significantly the date of 10mtpa
Ironically we could hit first poly sooner.

RCF formally ceases at the end of the month, although IB’s were pulled I don’t recall any official notice the RCF had been pulled.

I too believe there could be value from here (3p)
BUT all previous programme, NPV, ramp up to 13mtpa, construction, cost models, debt repayment timescales..... is all out of the window and the model is being scrapped and started again. This is 10 years of planning being started from scratch from a weak position.
I reiterate, I see value, even if we are diluted to 20%. But this is from a base of 3p.

Is this a case of a few folk bailing on the back of negative press allowing shorters to then close their position (lower than they anticipated... that DM article was like Christmas come early for shorters) .... therefore the SP will rise to 3.30-3.50 come Friday or Monday.
