After triggering the EPC it is still years away from actual profit and actual mining. Triggering EPC does not mean you get to mine it…it does make it more saleable and derisk.,, all the while time slips away.

What is materially going to change in the next few weeks to make a formal offer more likely…. Nothing. The BoD have not identified or informed on exactly what the blocker is for said offer, if an offer is in the wings, as they keep speculating there is.

So, what is in the corporate calendar these next few weeks/months

Any sensible approach would have been to trigger the EPC years ago. Which would increase the value of the ‘asset’ and de risk the project. All this lost time…. ‘Opportunity Cost’

A sale can be achieved during the EPC therefore why not trigger it…. Pronto

NDA’s are only really effective for a short while.

Any potential deal that gets traction involves 100’s of folk and plenty of organisations. It becomes industry knowledge who is kicking the tyres.

Begs the question, is anyone who has been looking at this acquisition, say further back than 12 months ago, still involved, and are they putting any serious shoulder into it?

I doubt that strongly.

Why aren’t the company being transparent about a sales process that’s lasted however many years.
