You may be the only one Seance. Perhaps because you are wrong. But who knows.....there are two possible scenarios:
1. AB is a genius. He has presided over a company that is uniquely placed foe the current environmental and political situation. Their products, and the sale thereof, are of such complexity that a mere PI could not possibly comprehend and the only thing standing in the way of his genius is a bit of red tape. Multinationals and governments alike are falling over themselves to talk to him, contracts just require his majestic hand, and soon the company will be worth billions. AB will be very rich.
2. AB is a snake oil salesman. His knows he is struggling to get someone to sign on the dotted line and he knows that RA and the institutional investors know this also. Hence their departures. He is however a master story teller and the PIs, who love a good yarn, are lapping it up ,,,,,indeed their expectation go ever higher. This extends the life of the company and AB is able to continue to take his grossly inflated salary. This could go on for many years and AB will be very rich.
I tend towards number 1 and think the company is on the verge of significant progress. This is why I remain invested. Either way only one person wins in either scenario. I hope he is resilient enough to weather the fallout if it's number 2!!
