Lol. This is getting sad, real sad.
Lol poor cinema. Football comes first for sure
This is what will push cine to 150p no doubt!!!!!!!!!!!
If Mooky doesn't express that, then he wouldn't still be in the business. It's great that he thinks that way, but there's not always a direct correlation between a positive outlook by the ceo and the sp. We are yet to really feel the impacts of Covid, or indeed out potential, until freedoms are given. Please, no more delays get cineworld back trading fully and see how we fair. I think in general, markets are calming down. I think I said this a while back about cines trading patterns and the lower swings. The rocket could still come, but we need a genuine turn of fortune to push the sp and bring greater confidence
To be frank, it's an opinion piece, nothing more. It's got us talking, that's probably about it.
Moral of the story is...no matter what info you share or who has good posts, the sp will rise or fall. So really who cares?? Lol. We're all wrong
Smalltrader. I am a financial adviser, not think I am. End of
Smalltrader. You clown. Don't you dare try and insult me.
Smalltrader, do you know what the sp was on 1st January 2021 and do you know what it is today?
You are ridiculous mate. At least if you're going to insult, please please please use actual facts. Google is wrong as the graph doesn't stretch back to Jan. You need to read the graph properly. Haha did uni a while back pal.
Cine is up 25% ytd, what are you on about?
I think it's going to take more than the one movie. Perhaps even an industry push to regain valuable sentiment. A little bit like Morrisons bringing supermarket shares up. So I guess if other cinemas do well, it should help us. However, it must be a really strong drive to put all of these analysts to sleep. Hopefully more positive news will be driven. At the start of the year we were in the 60s or something, so to be where we are now, isn't all that bad in the grand scheme of things. No doubt it's frustrating when there's great rises followed by great falls, but we are a stock that can spring a few surprises. I feel like I'm repeating myself now. Shout out to Fun, Sammy and others making good points.
This was inevitable imo. I wouldn't have expected anything less given the scale of the movie. The thing I feel is more important, is cine specific performance and multiple movies doing a similar job for cineworld. The articles and share price commentary over the last few days may have damaged us a little bit. We need to fight back and breed confidence in investors over the coming months. The performance of F9 hopefully will feed through, but I've seen this before. The temporary gains aren't sticking atm. A nice boost is needed from somewhere
Makes for a really bad movie, this whole debacle. The image of them kissing is media gold!
But in all seriousness, stuff like this can undermine this whole covid fight, which in turn damages us (temporarily). Obviously not going to play a major role, but stuff like this can throw unnecessary spanners in the works. The gov need to get a grip, and I'm not talking about bums!!! Mr H
Haha Jordan will forever be a legend for the ridiculous claim. Maybe he tried what he could just to create hype. Maybe he's sold up and wanted one last dance, to mess with people. Lpd was fully going in with facts figures, as if it were a possibility. Complete nonsense.
I do feel sorry for some investors though. Confidence is not with us, no clear pathway back up other than time really.
Would be cool. Don't you guys live a million miles away?
Both of you should be banned for your soft porn public story!! Haha
Sadanby001 I agree to an extent. Given the current situation, £1 towards q4 I think. Surprises can happen of course, but the next 3 months is a toss up for me imo
I heard Jordan was told by Mooky himself, after spotting him down the local
True Fun. It's still holding up extremely well and ytd is still 37% up. Clearly it was spiked up above £1 during an irrational period. Now, as you say it's about dealing with uncertainties. Tbh, it's always been like this. Just wish the falls weren't bigger as the rises, which they have been
I don't think we can ever truly understand why the sp takes a hit like it has and vice versa. But what I will say is that I fully expected a fall. After 3 positive days, I just knew that the powers that be would seek to take it down. However, I wasn't expecting it to fall by this much.
I think this is just how it's been since the 120p days. Now, no one is none the wiser to figuring when the next boom will be or what even will cause it. That's the only frustrating thing for me is that I can't figure out what will cause a nice big sustained rise. Happy to wait for it, just can't put my figure on how it will happen
