Bristolian, I never said I will be maximising/exceeding the allowance

Hi guys, absolutely ridiculous for me to ask, but have you ever topped up two stocks and shares isas during the same tax year and got away with it? So tempted to buy more cine shares but already topped up a different isa

The issue is that less money will be spent in the economy during that month. We also don't know how confident people will be. In theory I agree with you, but we had this before last summer and the leaders don't have a clue what to do. I mean, how could Boris take this long to decide what he wants to do? That's shocking to me personally

Why do I have the feeling that despite the delay probably bringing better results, the movements and behaviour of us will just mean more of this back and forth in years to come? It might be a pessimistic view but I genuinely feel that our pre pandemic recovery won't be until 2023 (not cine specifically, just in general)

It's only concerning if there's no clear path to recovery. I think there is, but will take quick shifts in confidence for this to happen. It's a shame that the last 3 months or so haven't looked great and that's not brought an influx of new investors. I'd only get concerned if it went to mid/low 70s imo

Seems like more of us are finally starting to realise that it will take longer than a load of movies to spring the sp back up. The beauty of cine is the ability to unexpectedly bounce. It's not happened for months, but I'd much rather go through the ride than try and trade it. Q3/q4 is my target to decide if I want to stay in any longer. Also, I don't think any of us have made the wrong decision in buying and sticking around. We had the vision that this would recover, maybe we were a little naive thinking we'd sustain this year's highs, but who could have predicted this?? It has been very clear that the steam had ran out and I suspect that those who bought high may have sold up. Just look at the data. But for us that can hang in there, hopefully we're rewarded. Before that happens, the market needs to see cine specifics that bring positivity

But will the wider market take in what mooky said or will they act irrational and go off what is happening in the rest of the world? It's nice that there's a positive outlook, however market forces are still at play. If this is in a similar position in 3 months, I'd most certainly be surprised. Surely we'll be in a better place

Lpd, I think there's far less deramping than on pretty much all other boards. There's actually not that many.

Obviously our focus is the US and I know where the revenues lie, but there's still home bias to contend with. No matter which way you look at things, the UK's position plays a huge role in share price movements. It's clearly irrational and has been for a while, but that's just where we are.

It's healthy debate imo, even if people say others are deramping or whatever, at least there's valid points about cines outlook - at least in the short term. Still we are in a balanced position

The fact that cases are rising seems to be what all the focus is on. Such a shame given the progress, which you've highlighted. I know some people don't mind if things are delayed, but it will crush some businesses. Totally unfortunate if it happens.

Of course he is undermining things, however, there's certainly less than full cinemas. But woow, didn't think that could ever happen!! Pandemic or not, there's going to be less people in screens at some point, so definitely not bothering with such comments. Bigger picture is the US recovery, our roadmap and figures in q3/q4.

Crumpets, it's just like most ftse listed companies. We're still determined by UK law, politics, economics, taxation etc. So despite being a global brand and heavily weighed to the US it's not enough to dictate the overall movement of the sp. The problem with the US as well is thr markets are heavily segregated and probably skewed somewhat. So if things are bad in the major markets, it will be reported

I think in the grand scheme of things, this is hopefully it re lockdowns. So if it's extended by two weeks, of course the markets won't like it, but on a whole, once it's lifted that should be it. At least for the rest of the year. Then we can look at cine's figures etc

Seems very touch and go and also mixed messaging still from the gov. Data is promising, yet getting relatively worse (which was expected). At this stage, there's so much uncertainty

Certainly feel sorry for all those who plan on going to or are already Portugal. Shame for travel stocks and countries who rely on tourism. This whole situation is a mess and it's just having a knock on effect on a lot of industries and individuals. At this point, if cine has a good run, then great, but harsh on others due to gov decisions

When Amc blew up last year I remember investors here saying the same thing and rallying to try and pump the prices. It may have pushed it up a little bit, but nothing like Amc. So I doubt it will happen here.
