AS has either 1. Had our pants down full and proper and lead us down the garden path as far as Covid tests are concerned or 2. The silence is golden and when news drops it's immensely positive.

What I can't get my head around is the protracted timescales. Surely if tests are as good as they have been envisaged then Avacta and its partners, along with the Government, will surely have been pulling out all the stops for a while now.

Every aspect of life (work, schools, health centres, airports etc) is crying out for a reliable, accurate and quick test. In my mind, this is as important as the vaccines.

Let's hope it's 2.

Today's trading update states,

"Significantly in this respect, the Board is now providing revenue guidance of £10m for 2021 (representing 127% annualised growth), while noting that several large projects, including two ‘multi-million pound opportunities’ due for decision in coming months offer potential to drive this figure substantially higher still".

I immediately thought of our collaboration with Deepverge in connection the reference to two multi million pound opportunities due for decision in the coming months...

Exactly Oilman. I'm giving it until mid February then I'm slinging my hook, probably at a significant loss by then.

I'm in the same position jh and i have the same thoughts. I fear they may have missed out on the opportunity of a lifetime to purchase assets at ridiculously bargain basement prices :(
