Yes, I know how salesmen work only too well. They will work like nutcases to hit their targets and bonuses. They will leave home at the crack of dawn and work all day and half the night to hit their figures.

If the company are so they say signing up restaurants but not letting them go live then they are doing this the wrong way round. This works much better when the towns/cities are live on the platform and the restaurants are then added. Also the new salespersons need to see their signed restaurants go live straight away on the platform. That is the way to get the very next one signed up.

Salesmen live on third-party stories - they need to show the potential new customers that they have signed up a competitor restaurant a few blocks away. Then the fear of missing out kicks in and the second restaurants joins in. That's how it works.

You may have been a broker for 25 years. Fine, as far as I can see brokers have one purpose in life and that is to raise funds for listed companies.

I happen to have plenty of sales experience and I know exactly how salespersons live, work and operate. In a company the size of Big Dish the managers are either busy signing new restaurants or doing nothing. There isn't anything else in between.

Well personally I am a bit disappointed. The roll-out was set for September, with the new managers tentatively set to be in place by them. However, instead, most of the managers were surprisingly recruited and on the payroll by early August. That to me would represent an opportunity to bring everything forward by one month and have the roll-out commence in August but instead it looks as if Big Dish are quite happy to have all of these managers - 11 according to monty - fully paid and doing nothing for a month. That is not good business sense. Good business sense is remaining flexible.

Also it doesn't explain what the T1 and T2 managers are doing - unless it's been decided they need an extra month of training on top of the 2/3 months of doing nothing since the beginning of June which was the last time either of them actually added any restaurants to the platform.

I just keep thinking London - 3 managers - Birmingham, Manchester, Liverpool, Leeds, Nottingham - all of these massive cities with dozens of quality restaurants just waiting to be signed to the platform.

12 managers aiming for 20 restaurants per month - which should be quite doable though I expect they will announce some targets soon or at least we can see what numbers the high achievers start to hit - is 240 per month.

And once the independent restaurants are added in big numbers I think the small and large chains will come on board very quickly.

Don't worry, there are a few here, including myself, who will be happy to do the counting as long as the numbers keep increasing and the share price keeps going upwards.

I think that the important part to watch will be new towns and cities coming on board in the areas where the new managers are starting. That's easy enough to count - there are 8 at the moment but that will soon double or more.

It shouldn't be long now before new locations start appearing on the App - and then it's up and up and up.

We already have been told the 3 London managers are already in place so that should be a great place to get the restaurant numbers moving up very quickly.

I'd like to see the SP get back to about 5p quite quickly and then there's not going to be any reason for it to fall back again as the territory managers start signing up new restaurants to the platform.

Moving up fast at last. 3.35p to buy now. I picked up 2 more lots of 100K in the 2p's but as I've said before this is not a share now to be looking to get in too cheaply as there is so much upside potential.

I'm just glad that this share doesn't attract stamp duty the amount I've bought of late.

I've done enough sales jobs in my time. Training is usually done either in an office or a posh hotel over a few days - however many are necessary - and then in the field where new recruits shadow existing managers over a day or a few days. There is not a lot to it.

When they are training in the field this will be generating new sign-ups so we should see signs of this on the platform.

It's 2 weeks since the last communication and this is not good enough. I think that most people are pretty well loaded up here apart from a few bottom-feeders who have not done enough research to feel confident enough to buy at the lows of the last week or so and now it is time for this nationwide roll-out we have heard so much about to get started in the real world.

We haven't had any information about how they are training these new recruits but this is not rocket science and should be just a matter of course - maybe a few days in a hotel somewhere and then a day or two in the field to get them up and running.

I agree and I am quite confident here. After all the share price has already risen to 9p in anticipation of the nationwide roll-out and now it's about to begin - or at least as soon as Sanj gets around to it (don't want to rush the poor bloke).

I just wish that with a little extra thought and communication and planning and commonsense the share price could have been held at a higher price. A fallback all the way into the 2p's wasn't really necessary, especially considering that 6 of the 10 new managers are already in place - or at least in place according to the podcasts!!!!!!

Training - maybe a couple of days at a push and then 1 or 2 days out in the field with Sanj or one of the existing managers. These are all experienced salespersons, the pick of 1000 applicants, so they should all have the basic sales skills required at the least.

That is absolute drivel about "busy periods". That is monty5662's dribble. Yes, the monty who has made himself pretty scarce when he could make himself useful and have a quiet word with Aidan about the lack of progress and communication here at the moment.

I see Wildwood in Bournemouth, which might be the chain restaurant trial, is happy doing a 50% discount all day and some other restaurants are following suit with extra 50% off slots.

I will expect a lot more of this when the big city restaurants join the platform as they will be having to compete with a lot of close-by restaurants and they will need anything and everything they can find to give them the edge over their competitors.

Also I much prefer the towns/cities to be put on the App first and then the restaurants to be added. That seems to work well. I'm not worried about anything else - just wanted to see these numbers moving back in the right direction.

Yes, I've just had a wake-up moment. I've been posting that an update would be nice but I've just realised is that what I really want is to check last thing at night and to see new locations and new restaurants added to the platform.

That is what is needed to get this share price moving back upwards - new towns and cities and new restaurants.

To me this is just very poor management. The company are obliged to keep the market informed of what is going on.

I've just picked up some more but I'm not really too bothered as I've got a large holding already and I can see that there is plenty of potential for a large increase in the m/cap here as the business grows. I'd rather see the SP turn back upwards than keep being lured into buying more and more ever-cheaper shares.

I know you said you were going to take a break while the board had deteriorated into anarchy but if you are around and reading this then could you maybe give Aidan a ring as I know you are in touch with him regularly and ask if the shareholders could please have an update.

It would be nice to know which territory managers are in their positions and if training has already been done and what the plan of action is for the near future. Maybe which towns and cities are going to be targetted first, etc, etc.

Even better maybe a full expansion update with plans for the next 6 months.

This is definitely what the share price needs to change direction.
