Since the RNS we have had all manner of different scenarios but if DS is registered in the UK he would not be happy with paying the extra tax if it was a substantial Divi and he is the one leading the discussions.
If it was you would you do a deal that would cost you more or a deal that gains you the most net profit especially with his millions of shares
you could read the RNS many times and different people come up with different ideas a lot of people have had guesses and that is exactly what they are guesses 50 / 50 chance right or wrong so until we hear anything from the Bod sit tight dont worry and hold onto what you have got.

I save all paperwork for years I have got files in cabinets in my loft going back 35 years keep saying must clear them out but we joke about it and say that it will give the kids something to do when we are both dead

I have always done my own returns but now that this is getting a lot more complicated how much would an accountant cost I have lots of deals through HL to go through.

She has no other investments only normal bank account 0.5% yippee so is under the limit for this year so it will only be the cost of the spread price
She will not do much as she likes the security of normal stuff and not a risk taker she only got these after I talked her into it

The wife has only got about 15,000 shares in a HL fund &share account so 1st thing Monday open an ISA buy that amount of shares in that and then sell the ones in the Fund &share account
Best way so she does not pay any tax whether it’s divi or sale

The FCA would have read and approved the RNS before it was published and would have been happy so no problems or worries here, the BOD have played a blinder all the way through this so they still have my full trust.

My original price was last year was 1.85 but I have added a lot more since then and the flanks/JV and the Japanese connections so although £2 is retirement I think over £3 now is more realistic and a much better retirement
This will be life changing for so many people

Evening all
So I finally managed to get out on my bike today as the knee was not hurting so much 1st time in months and what happened ??? going down a hill over Sherwood Pines and stacked now got a very very sore left side chest and left arm grazed and a massive bruise on my left thigh. the only consolation is no one saw me so saved a bit of face, I think it would have been a 9 out of 10. had a few brandies purely medicinal.
So now I need this to come good asap so I can go and get some convalescent in the sun
