It just goes to show what sort of person he is, and why people should never, ever! rely on information posted to these bulletin boards, they are a dangerous place.

He is trying to convince other to buy of course, by making such posts.

I do think that as this stock has been promoted by those internet articles which are total nonsense, it's not too hard to imagine the same people will be promoting the stock here and other BBs.

RNS writing is akin to a dark art.

Some RNS are written factually correct, but in a certain way as to make you believe something they want you to believe, rather than the actual facts.

People that write these are highly skilled.

It's all legal and often the clue is in what the RNS doesn't say.

Why would I need to do that as you state you have a "good average", so clearly you know it and therefore can easily tell me?

That's just semantics, and you know it.

The company had a bill to pay, and seemingly is low on treasury and couldn't pay in cash, so issued shares which the recipient will then sell into the market to obtain their money. So the end result is the debt is paid, more shares issued, dilution has occurred, exactly the same as a placing.

Call it what you like, but it's a placing via the back door.

The issuing of shares in lieu of a cash payment is a placing, pure and simple.

The beneficiary will almost certainly sell the shares immediately, it's just another way of the company extracting funds from the market, and diluting shareholders.

Because the company has no treasury to pay them with, so, it either takes the shares or waits!! At least they can sell the shares to satify the monetary debt that way.

In answer to the question posed in the header of this thread, assuming you want to diversify into other gold stocks, in my opinion only producing miners are the place to be right now, prefereably in a tier 1 jurisdiction such as North America (Canada, Mexico, USA) or Australia.

I prefer producers that have good exploration potential and can self fund that.

On the ASX, Capricorn Metals, Catalyst Metals, Gold Road (potential higher bid coming),Horizon , and Ora Banda Mining.

On the TSX G Mining Ventures, Orla Mining, and West Red Lake Gold Mines (Pure Gold's mine before they went bust) looks to be ready to mine at long last, and could do well from this level.

For transparency I hold all the above, and have done for some time, adding along the way,

All your eggs in one basket? There's no quality investment advice anywhere that will advocate that, it's reckless in the extreme, IMHO.

No investment is guaranteed, there's always a risk, events that cannot be predicted can turn the 'dead cert' into a nag with a broken leg. For that reason diversification is always strongly advised, see writings by Buffet for reference, and he's being doing very well for round 70 years!
