I'm happy to carry on investing in shares that are going up because they are producing gold, and have regular newflow about self-funded exploration successes, without diluting their shareholders.

LOL! have you looked at their charts recently? The gold miners are just starting to catch up, check Barrick's recent results, and the average selling price against the price of gold now! The next quarter's results from the miners are going to be very sparkling indeed because they will reflect the current higher price than the lower prices of the previous quarter.

Not with the bid to offer spread you're not! According to the chart here the lowest MID price is .725p, so a buy would have been at a premium to that, and the OFFER today is .95p

You always have to allow for the bid offer spread when calculating profit or loss. I always value my portfolio at the bid because that's the true selling price, otherwise you're just kidding yourself. Hence the saying the true value of anything is what someone will pay you for it.

And as for Canada, when was there last any progress there? The PEA was done in 2021, and the capex will be at least double now.

Seriously, this whole company is dormant, and as investors we need to focus on companies that are generating plenty of (positive) newsflow and either in production or close to it, and financed.

You have missed the point completely. As the CEO of a public company AB is governed by regulations regarding the release of company news. By Tweeting the way he does he is restricting what he posts to those people who use X, as Twitter is now known.

The regulations state that news should be released to the market via RNS, and Twitter is not a regulated news service to my knowledge. You might find little hints as being "interesting" because this is a retail stock, and that's why he's tweeting.

You don't see the chairman of Shell or BP tweeting to shareholders about their companies, do you?

Free speech is not the issue, it's the proper dissemination of news as required by the market that is, but I don't expect you to understand that.

You dream about life changing sums of money from a modest investment, yet I would say the same thing about the lottery, because I've probably got more chance of winning that than you have of making a life changing sum here.

I remember Brancote, 70 times up in only three weeks after a massive gold discovery in Patagonia. I don't remember any like that since, and that was around 25 years ago.

Gold producers are benefitting their shareholders from the higher gold price NOW, Anglesea will still be here when gold tops, and possibly at a lower price than now, it's the dilution you know.

They've achieved nothing in nearly 30 years, and I personally don't see anything changing.

I strongly suspect a placing is coming, hence the price moving up so it can be "discounted".

Why would anyone with a modicum of common sense invest in a lifestyle company like this?

Look at the 10 year historical chart and ask yourself is this a credible investment for your money?

Look at the PRODUCING gold miners and their charts and ask yourself why am I not investing in those companies instead? Plenty of good ones around, especially in Canada and Australia, easily traded from a UK brokers account.
