mol, the title of this thread should read AQSE and since Jan 2021 it split its AQSE Growth Market into two segments, Access, for early-stage companies with a minimum market cap of £700,000 and Apex, for more established businesses with a minimum market cap of £10 million. This allows for slightly different, and more appropriate rules for very small companies and those with a market cap over £10 million .
So, I can't tell from the RNS whether we will be listed as Access or Apex, so how can you? My bet is Apex based on the Market cap

Regarding AQSE, I suspect that the recent rule changes following brexit freedoms were a factor in selecting AQSE for Probiotix health ltd

Back on topic, the consensus view on the listing overall appears positive or at worst neutral, although neither TW or Lemmings Investor advocate applying for any shares in the new AQSE listed company, but rather buy/hold the parent company listing.

This raises the question who will be buying shares in the new company to support a£25M market cap? Now we know from the Dec 2020 Probiotix Health Company house accounts that one US Customer (which has to be Seed Health) accounted for £482,963 of the overall £821,125 revenue (58.9%) and that they have now expanded their territory into Europe so the market share has likely been maintained or increased in 2021. For Seed Health, DS01 is their main product and LPLDL is a key ingredient within the probiotic inner capsule, so is it just fanciful thinking that they might be interested in snapping up shares in the new company once split out from Optibiotix Health with a view to taking it over completely in the not too distant future?

An interesting conundrum indeed. Some people will point to Open Orphan and the collapse of its share price once it span out Poolbeg in a similar move. However, that was a very different situation, Open Orphan shares had already got ahead of themselves and had priced in this float which had been well touted, whilst this has come out of the blue from Optibiotix Health whose share price is already ridiculously depressed so can only see the combined value of the in-specie div and Opti being higher. And of course, when sweetbiotix launch news for the retained pre-biotix side of the house finally drops......
