My point exactly. There may be an occasional big sell by a handful of whales but due to the inability to buy in volume, retail are either having to buy in small tranches or not bother at all.

Despite the restriction on buying, the number of buy trades is massive compared with the occasional sell whether large or small.

The sea of blue shows the sentiment, the dirty tricks dictates the price.

Such low availability if you do try and buy, only small volume allowed before going NT. Just look at the size of all the buy trades making it through. So small!!! Not because there's no interest, the number of trades shows there's interest, the problem is no quantity available and locking out a huge number of retail investors and traders through ii is all part of the game to balance the books.

Most traders and investors who play with £XX,XXX aren't interested if you can't buy in £XX,XXX tranches.

You'll notice the doubters have disappeared for now, their services not currently required. They're only here to disrupt the positivity to try and keep a lid on it.

Still being employed by MMs

MMs would still like your shares to balance their books. They play the long game, but they know shares may be back in demand so to flush out potential sellers, they keep dropping the bid hoping to trigger some stop losses while retail are out to lunch.

I know it sounds crude and dated, but it still works.

MM's still want your stock.

Unless the book has already been forward sold, NO, there is no placing. The price is artificially kept high while brokers & MMs shift cheap stock on unsuspecting retail punters. Then once they've sold all the shares, they announce placing (please understand, the shares are already sold by the time of the announcement)

Given the price action last week from its original fundraising a few months ago and the amount of insider and director shareholdings, I would be very surprised if a fund raise was done at these levels, its way too low and very dilutive to directors with a lot of skin in the game. They know the share price will be a lot higher before the next fund raise will be required in 2026 (reported at launch) and by then, it won't put a dent in their percentage holding.

Nothing goes up in a straight line and we've had four great trading days. Hold your nerve for further announcements.

Offering over mid price for such large chunks of stock and not taking orders to buy is very telling.

The Directors and non-execs at ALRT add massive credibility to the business model for ALRT.

These RNS’s are not fluff, when your staff members are part of NATO advisory groups and the highest ranking Lord and Field Marshall are on the board, you know your part of a winning team.

People of such stature do not lend their names and experience to pump and dumps.

MMs will take 5m off me without going NT. They are desperate to balance their books. If there was the potential for them to get cheap placing shares, they would not be making these bids 5 mins before close.

Got to love how hard the MM's are trying.

Little tick down to try and spook holders into running for the exits. Only 1 in 10 trades are sell, otherwise its a sea of blue, albeit small x,xxx trades because that's all they will let you have.

Can sell 5,000,000 in one trade without NT well over bid.

Interactive Investor (ii) do sometimes restrict buying on certain stocks, and there are two main triggers:

🔹 1. Settlement / Liquidity Risk

If their market counterparties (the MMs they route orders through) say they can’t reliably get stock in the size requested, ii will flip the stock to sell only.

This protects ii from being left with unsettled trades if supply just isn’t there.

🔹 2. Retail Risk / Volatility

Like HL, AJ Bell, IG, etc., ii has an internal risk/compliance framework.

If a stock is moving 50–200% intraday, their compliance team MAY mark it as “too volatile” and switch off the buy button to protect clients from excessive risk.

The FCA actually nudges brokers to take this kind of step to avoid “client harm.”

🔹 What It’s Not

It’s not ii making a judgement on the company’s fundamentals.

It’s not a red flag for a placing, ii will not be privy if a placing is being worked.
