Let's look at how Puts work.
If he has sold a Put at, say, 440p. He receives a Premium for that. If the price goes UP to 500p then the Put Holder will simply allow the Put to expire worthless and Mike walks away with his Premium. If the price falls to 350p , then he is obliged to buy the shares at 440p (subsidised a little by the upfront receipt of a Premium).
Listening to Sosandar results webcast. They were spending £20 each to acquire new customers. ASOS had 26 million active users: that asset could be worth 520 million. Sure, be conservative, but it is still worth a lot to someone like Mike Ashley.
MarketWatch and Reuters are just news organisations. All they are doing is reporting if something went up or down post results. They employ low level staffers to write those articles. Do you seriously feel the need to put Reuters name in quotes after it has been around for 170 years ?!

Queues of 20 to find a rental property…
This company has Profits of about 50 million in a normal year. Current market cap 115 million.
Short term blip with current interest rates and the building safety codes. It can easily double from here over the next few quarters.
That’s like saying a woman violated shouldn’t scratch lest it elicit a more violent response.
What’s the consensus view ? Good but not good enough ?
FXPO have 4 pelletizers of which 2 are now running. The second only from late Feb 2023. Results are 2nd August when we will see a solid uptick in production feeding through to the bottom line.
Iron Ore was about 10-15 lower in price in 2019 than currently and production was 5x 23H1 levels. Then the shareprice was between 150-280p vs 86p currently. Plenty of upside as pelletizers 3 & 4 come back on stream.
Fewer men, fewer tanks, fewer trolls…. For countable nouns we use Fewer
Less ammunition, less hope, less freedom…. For uncountable nouns we use Less.
Standards of English in the KGB school have really gone down.
A mine is a massive thing. Poltava is 6 km long and 340m deep. A direct hit from a rather large bomb would do close to zero damage to a mine.
Almost inevitably…. a 30% premium would be 22.50 still below year high of 23.73
I’d say a nice round 25.00 gets it over the line.
Ukrainians blew up two massive ammo dumps in Donetsk and Makiivka overnight. All Russia can do is lob missiles randomly at civilians.
The depth of Due Diligence is impressive. Thanks for the link.
Even if crypto is finished (spoiler alert - it isn't) Blockchain will be the future for many assets to record ownership and avoid settlement problems.
Much appreciated
Within next 2yrs they expect to sell 75-100 gas cans for $50k a pop. Each gives 125 puffs. This seems rather low given the rates of COPD. They expect to sell 15-20 systems - anyone know the revenue from this ? What other income streams will they have ? Fee per scan ? Maintenance ?
