Thanks Brasso, our wells were at similar costs and as we know very deep. Must be the going rate for doing a farm out in countries with unproven reserves if there are any that are movable.
I suppose finding the oil is where all the costs start in a country with no infrastructure in place, something that was mentioned back in the day if a major find was achieved.

I was surprised by that rns rubbish, we've spent upward 150 million in Paraguay and to give 50% away for the cost of one well seems to be a bit out of kilter to me.

Amazed the sp is still showing blue after topping again yesterday, its bl...y scary i don't know if I can cope with it. I'm now starting to think ppc going up is more important than having a needle stuck in my arm.

It isn't interest free but could be or there abouts, either way its on very favourable terms for ppc on a project that should be paid for in a couple of years or so with savings. Let's not forget though, that new plant will need oil going through it to make those savings so they must be confident they can produce it.

Can't agree with his comparison with Parkmead, our sp has performed much worse than theirs but having said that their sp has been horror story as well dropping from great heights but has has recovered off its lows, a lot easier to recover when you only have a handful of shares compared to ppc.

Gas re-injection is recoverable and I think you have answered your own question, why build the gas infrastructure drill a well that find gas and oil and then produce oil from it. Oil is worth more ?

Because the oil may be worth recovering if it ever gets back to a decent price in the future, that's of course if the pressure drops as all to often happens with ppc wells and there is enough left in the ground to warrant a it.
