We will see, you will have to live and learn with this one as we all have. PL is good at selling the product he has just had trouble producing it in the past with PPC.
Oh I read the rns, been reading them for the lst 8yrs or so, the only ones I don't take with a pinch of salt are the ones that say placing or fund raise, now they are guaranteed and fairly seasonal to.

No what I'm saying is all a long term are used to an rns that says one thing and doesn't stack up as time goes by.
In the past successful Wells have as we eventually foun out only replace Wells that have dropped in production and so on and annual production never gets anywhere, one step forward two steps back.
I can real off umpteen rns's saying exactly the same as recent ones.

Just goes to show what the market thinks of an rns saying expecting 500 plus boepd and then only delivering 2 or 300.
Went into a car showroom a few weeks ago and ordered a car with four wheels and when it was delivered it only had 2, when I questioned the salesman he said see how you get on with 2 for now we can always send you 2 more in the future, I said the other 2 could be worn out by then. Just shrugged his shoulders and said we've got your money, not bothered you can always sell it.

As for for 3-4p by year end, that was on expectations of 500 Boepd as mentioned in previous rns for this well. It may come in the future once they open up the gas fully from the higher zone. All hidden under the title of well management

Good news on production from the drilled well, not massive but positive at least. I would think reserves will be a bigger factor rather than the small increase in production which could level out at much lower in the future.
Nothing unusual now regarding sp reaction as we seem to be stuck in this long cycle of selling and with no news until next year as announced today we could see the sp drop back unfortunately and not the result we were hoping for before the year end.

It surprised me in the directors talk interview that he said they have now identified the best well to drill, should that not have been identified in the first place after all 3D and money was thrown into Paraguay

3-4p by Christmas might be achievable with good news from the new well

Thats a very good set of results considering the state of the world, keeping costs under control whilst trying to improve production with workovers.

We all have a story to tell with this one, unfortunately its never a good one.

dasbig can't see it having much of an impact on the sp as its not been factored in due to the ii selling, well I hope not anyway

DRichi yes its been a long hard slog to get down to where we are today :) and I'm sure nobody knows more than PL on that score.
Maybe the IFC were waiting for Schroders to finish their current reduction in holding PPC stock. It seems we are in a tug of war between trying to make a success of what was for long term holders a car crash on many fronts and ii's cashing in for what ever reason, be it dissatisfaction, reducing oil exposure or just the aim market.

It was booth's but as I was only questioned on my IFC comment thats all I responded to.

That was circa the time PL got involved in ppc and Australia was dropped a year or so later.

Thanks NicetoMichu been here nearly as long as PL some have been here longer. I remember the sp being around 17-18p when the rns came out regarding the IMF and that was the catalyst for the sp to take off. We all know what as happened after that, but hey ho still here still waiting for what hopefully should be a good result.
Looking positive again, but aso looks like the long term ii's are out to hinder any sp movement be it the traff deal or other reasons, we will never know.
