no i think if the kenya deal comes off it will double the share price in the blink of an eye and your little algo's won't save you. the only reason why my posting annoys you and causes you to throw insults back at me is because the links make you nervous about your short. no matter how much you try convince yourself the links are nonsense and it will never happen, the simple fact is these are the key players who are tweeting this information and not some random anonymous poster on a bb like this. lth's have been on the losing end for a while now since we dropped from 66p, however the tide has turned and it is now against you. just work out the percentage difference between the recent 52 week low and the current share price and you'll see.....i'd do it for you but can't be ****d.

This is significant I think .... if you read the Tweet it is a bit misleading as says....

Maanzoni is where it is being held and not where the oil is and if you look at photo 3 I'm pretty sure the brochure on the table has the photo of the Tullow site on the front page.

Got the following response back from IR to my email about why directors can suddenly now buy..... doesn't give anything away but that's not unexpected I guess.

"Dear Anton,

The FDP was submitted to EPRA in early March and is being reviewed by the regulator. Tullow is working collaboratively with the regulator to get the FDP approved, but not going to speculate on the timeframe. The FDP approval process, including ratification by parliament is expected to conclude this year and is part of our 2023 KPIs. We do not expect any change to our current plans and approval of the FDP remains a key requirement to progress the project.

We are no longer in a closed period, but will enter the closed period at the start of July ahead of our HY Results in September.

There has been good engagement with the Government of Ghana with regards a Gas Sales Agreement, but there is no further update at this stage.

Our next scheduled update will be the July Trading Statement on 12 July 2023.

Slater606.....In retrospect I was greedy and stupid.....I wanted £1 and really thought Kenya would be announced and propel the share price from 60p upwards. I've never claimed to be a savy investor and when picking a cheap distressed oiler during Covid just happened to pick Tullow Oil. I got lucky....it happens. The rise obviously didn't happen though and hindsight is a wonderful thing. I'm financially comfortable and don't need to sell, so here I am ....... still waiting for Kenya.

Thanks all .... I'm suitably reassured, especially with the additional buys announced today.

Bailiff I'm hoping they're doing it for maximum effect as would be nice if they've woken up to the fact that they need to support the share price....even in the short term.

I do however have a niggling worry, as why can they all suddenly buy now. I just hope it's not because Kenys is now dead and they want to support the share price before the announcement. Although surely that would be material information that they'd need to release. I emailed IR yesterday to ask but haven't had a reply back yet.
