Another possible tactic is that they could be using the appeal process to delay, to enable them to reduce the short In the same way they built it up. They don’t seem to have been punished for not reporting.

I think you will find that arcm’s end game is to force Pmo to renegotiate the debt next year, they will then push for better terms and possibly debt for equity. This would then enable them to close their big short. The problem for them is the deal, if it goes through, will scupper their long term plan.

That said we could shoot up next week as we are getting closer to the MRE as everyone is taking positions.

There’s every chance this will drop on results next week. We have had an amazing run recently and I fully expect some to sell on news before resuming the upward trajectory. Unless they drop a surprise that is.

My advice is avoid being tempted to do any coarse as they will promise much and deliver little. Better to read and if you prefer visual info then watch some YouTube vids, Such as how level 2 works, but only to help give basic understand how the market works.

Some brokers also offer dummy trading in which you can practice without taking risks.

When you feel more confident then trade small amounts so as not too be over exposed. Pmo is a good share all round (assuming oil recovers) it offers long term gains as well as the chance to trade from time to time. But make sure you DYOR and don’t let others influence you. These chat boards are great for info but be careful as some are not what they seem and have an agend.

I suppose it all depends on the terms. Do they agree to pay the price on oil they receive or does the agreement state they have to pay regardless.
I’m my view there would have to be an exchange of oil to honour agreement on both sides. Unless things change the taps will have to be closed at some point.
These are unprecedented times.

Question- Even though we are supposedly ok until the end of the year because of the hedges what happens if there is no storage left for the buyers. Surely the hedges would be worthless if there’s no way they can store it.

Very true TR- I believe in Pmo, but it’s going to be a rough ride for a few months although plenty of cash to be made if you have the cahoonas to trade.

How I wished I had done the same. Whenever Pmo go over a pound there’s always a sharp drop, I should have followed my head. Lol

Yes mm’s treeshake will always take out stops, however when a share drops like a stone due to news they are not so keen to action them.
