Added to that Beerbull, with oil price back in the 30‘S, TD will no doubt be working on new hedges to replace the ones due to expire. This should hopefully insulate Pmo against a prolonged recovery.

Sk, you have been round long enough to know what’s going on with Arcm. They are out to extract as much out of Pmo as they can.
You are only siding with them because it suits your current position. You know as well as anyone that their kind are toxic to shareholders.

On the subject of the short, why do you think they withheld notification? Or are you telling us they simply forgot.

Totally agree Cash, I have said the same of TD in the past. He is A CFO and not suited to CEO in my opinion. However we are where we are, lol

I remember only too well the last refinance and how painful that was. That’s why in my view TD is pushing this deal so hard. He knows full well what’s going to happen.
Also doesn’t the acquisition pull down our break even price.

I also find Sk’s points increasingly annoying, he never has anything positive to say and makes me wonder why he ever buys shares here if it’s so bad.

I will say however that I Hope TD can pull something off, he could come back with a deal that makes us all happy as the current deal is unachievable at the stated price.

If Pmo don’t get some sort of deal then they will come for us. They will insist on debt for equity or sale of assets, or even both. I suggest you read the court papers as it lists the possible actions that may be taken at next years refinance should we lose. I have no doubt Arcm will buy up as much debt as they can in order to control debt negotiations.

I agree oil is in a bad way at present, but will recover. The world can’t stay in lockdown for ever.

Ok, let’s just say Arcm win and block the deal. What do you think will happen next? Do you seriously believe they will disappear happy in the knowledge they have save the company.
The truth is they will turn the screw on future debt negotiations due to their large accumulated position.

Sorry..... back to Pmo, from an investment prospective, anything that could save costs has to be good. However I can’t see how they will allow it under the current environmental Considerations especially as oil is starting to fall out of favour. It would undoubtedly stir up emotive feelings which would lead to bad publicity.

Looking from both sides, if the bulk was left in place after capping off then surely wildlife would move in once abandoned. It could be much better for the environment than dragging them off to be cut up in some foreign country. The cost saving wouldn’t sit well with the green brigade though.

Is the article not politically motivated, any excuse to stick the boot in. Not to mention it’s Russian media.
