Tr61, couldn’t have put that any better. Shocking what’s happened in the last few days to this once great company. Any upside from the acquisition will be lost to the humble Pi following all those extra shares to be issued.
There needs to be one hell of a bounce before they announce any price on the new shares to stop this getting worse. The creditors must have had Tony’s balls in a vice for him to announce this.

This share has so much potential, where the hell do we go from here, it could take years to get any real value back. As an investor we’re told to hold Long term for real gains, however this share has been an absolute dog for long termer’s.

Sorry for the negativity but absolutely pig sick of the jam tomorrow. Time to re-think strategy.

TD’s only option is to suspend at end of play tonight. It’s the only way to protect What’s left of the share price from dropping further. He needs to man up and take control.

Why didn’t the incompetent fool issue the price before or at the update. This is now more than likely to go into the teens which will only lead to greater dilution.

TR61, Hope you are well/ok, good to see you watching from the wings. However don’t be tempted to invest anytime soon. TD is making his usual mess up regarding refinance.
I try and stay positive but difficult under these circumstances. Just can’t see his reasoning for not giving rights issue price. Surely no price means they will drive it lower meaning more dilution.
What am I missing, or has he a master plan?

Also don’t pay too much notice of the Rns. He could have been selling for a while and only just updated his position. Didn’t he say On here he didn’t feel the need to notify when thresholds crossed (or words to that effect)

I think your missing the point Andy. I didn’t ask him what he was doing with his shares, he is the one informing us of his actions, albeit the opposite.

The issue here is not the fact that he trades the share, it’s that he came on here saying one thing and doing the Exact opposite.
Now ask your self why he would do that if not to profit from it. To those that defend him, how would you feel if it were GH or S Biswas, would you be so forgiving?

Ok Miagi , probably was a bit harsh as it’s only your opinion. I just saw red when reading another chump asking why our market cap was so high.
I don’t get why some posters feel the need to post on a board where they are not invested. It’s one thing to ask questions and watch before making an investment decision but why waste your own time and others trying to argue with regulars Just to make a point.

Seems lots of posters pop up theses days resenting our position, but as you say it’s a free public forum. Don’t be surprised though when people challenge your reason for being here.

Stebol, it’s only natural that we pour over anything said after any update. Everyone interprets things in a different way and it’s sometimes good to get someone else’s take. It’s only a bit of fun to pass the time.

The start of the decline could be used as a tool/tactic to increase spending quicker allowing NCM to gain bigger ownership sooner. They are desperate to get through the stages.

Does it not depend on what class of decline it is? My understanding is that the decline is for exploration, ie to save on having to drill through 400m each time. This in my view would be at cost to Newcrest as we are not at the mining stage, which would be at the end of stage 4.
I agree with what welsh says as NCM are rushing through the stages trying to condense everything which isn’t necessarily due process.

Paddy, I wasn’t trying to say they will downplay results or hold back. It’s more about releasing Mre earlier, potentially giving a lower estimate. Is it a requirement for them to state what tier it is at the time the Mre is released or can they defer until more info is known?

In any case it will be up to GH and his team to ascertain what market value is, helped by independent consultants as you say.

Here’s another theory, given that Newcrest is months in advance with results and in my view they will have already have an idea of the MRE, could it be that they will announce that Hav is a tier 2.
Telfer could then be classed as tier 1 to maintain interest. This could then be used to acquire the 5% at market value (playing hardball as hydro says)..
Then down the line Hav could be upgraded when further results are known.
It makes good business sense not to jump straight in with a tier 1, if that’s what we have.

That’s an interesting take Hydro, perhaps it’s more about trying to make Telfer look better than it is rather than downplaying Hav. After all Telfer has got to tick along until Hav potentially starts producing.

Thanks for the input guys, it’s great that he still puts us front and centre along with Red Chris in this update considering he will be a month or two ahead in drilling results.

Anyone have any idea why SB said Telfer could possibly be tier 1 again rather Havieron possibly being a tier 1?
Is he saying it would need Telfer’s lower grade to bulk up, could he be playing it down?
Strange way of putting it either way.
