Agreed, pi’s were effectively locked out for 3 quarters of the day.

My view is the 10p was artificial to cause panic, especially as no one seems to have been able to grab any at that price.

How about Pmo doing some sort of deal with Bp behind the scenes.
Something like a buy now pay later. Given our market cap this would then be a reverse takeover requiring a short suspension as with the eon deal. This would then possibly shield us from the virus and poo volatility over the next couple of months.

Emerald, the MM’s knew full well what they were doing this morning. They dropped it and held it whilst stopping pi’s from capitalising. I have never seen such a drop and not be able to get a buy price.

To my mind they were allowing someone to buy. Question is, was it Arcm?

Wonder if the they are buying up/closing

Will tomorrow’s update be everything we already know or could there be anything else of interest?

If NC don’t buy Ggp as a whole then I think it’s highly likely they will buy into us in order to fund exploration in the area. That way everyone could be happy as they have a piece of the action and we get the funding to continue.

Chippy9, my questions and views are not negative against Ggp. They are more about possible outcomes that may or not materialise.

There is no doubt that we have something that Newcrest want. However that doesn’t mean it will be plane sailing to get what we want. The humble Pi often gets the thin end of the wedge.
A balanced view is vital going forward in helping attach a realistic value.

Some interesting points guys.
In regard to possible future royalties, would it not be in NC’s interest to buy all of Ggp in order secure all areas in the Paterson.
I suppose the million dollar question is what is or will be fair value. Something I fear can only be determined by what we are told rather than what we think.
That’s not to say we won’t be happy with any offer we may receive in the future.

This has been discussed before and feel it needs addressing again. If NC are rushing to get the MRE by year end then how do ensure we get fair value. They control drilling and results and as such we are passengers on their journey to some degree.
Could NC’s desire to get to mine quickly prevent us from getting full potential, if as some say it could take years to get the full extent of mineralisation.

My view is that they will make their play in the near future and they could theoretically give a lower MRE based on results when it could be much larger in their view.
Business is business at the end of the day and didn’t SB say they picked up some opportunities embarrassingly cheap in one of his presentations last year.

Will Arcm be starting to close their short? Or will they be holding firm hoping for further drops.
Also will the Bp deal be under threat due to current climate?
