Just out of curiosity, does anyone know what Telfer’s MRE was?

Agreed many said between 3 and 5 but that was a while back and with all the extra results I would hope it was closer to the magic 10. However I’m a realist and would be happy with anything around 5.
In my view NCM will want to show off to the market It’s golden asset.

I asked this question the other day but didn’t get any answers. I thinks it’s a far more important conversation rather than Isa’s and who sold shares.
If we have something like 5 mil oz Then is the share price likely to drop or hold and if 7-10 mil oz what could the spike be? It’s difficult to predict what will happen and we are in touching distance of the big reveal.
Also what if Gh drops the Scally results tomorrow. Not sure if he would before an agm but happy if he does.

We have discussed this many times but as it’s imminent what is everyone’s best guess based on what we currently know?

I’m also stuck in that dog lion/Tally. I can’t complain though as the lion chat board was where I heard of Ggp. However not long after I invested Newmont walked. Soooooooo glad I didn’t panic and sell.

I also don’t think the Juri deal is good as I said this morning. I will agree however as others have said that we may not have all the pieces of the jigsaw yet. The bigger picture may be revealed soon.

What would be the impact if Scally was all copper, would it be something NC would want or a better fit for Rio?

The point to remember is the Hav farm in was a good deal that paid for a large amount of drilling. Now If we are lucky enough to have any more hits in Blackhills or PRE then it will cost us jointly a lot in order to prove up. Also With handing NC such a high percentage they could then sit on it and we can do nothing.

I partly agree with SocialistB, why give away so much for so little. Why the rush, unless there is any stipulation in the license that says you have to drill then why not sit on them until the time is right.
Makes little sense as in a year or so we may be in a stronger position. However If Scally is a new deal maker then it could go some way to explain as a priority focus.
Also, why do some feel the need to tell people to sell if they dare to question anything, surely with all the good news they can’t be so insecure.
The Hav deal is great and shows things are still progressing at speed.

I agree Cash, it would be far worse for the deal to fall through and TD stay at the helm. We have shared the same view of him over the years..

Where did I say that TD has worked in our best interests? It’s merely a statement of duties.
Let’s be clear, it’s a **** deal and always will be. They are paying rock bottom.
Do not be under any illusions that chrysaor are acting in good faith. It’s not even chrysaor calling the shots but their masters.
It may well prove to be the best we could hope for, but doesn’t make it any less distasteful.

Rookie, Alfa is right, if a better offer or way out is available it is the BOD duty to act in our best interests. We are only in this position because of Covid and subsequent Poo crash. Chrysaor are not doing us a favour and are in fact taking full advantage/exploiting of our weakness.
As I’ve said before with oil back in 50-60s this is a very different company not to mention the future potential sale of Zama. I still think the deal will go through as too many snouts in the trough.

Seems unlikely though as the BOD seem to have rolled over.

Have to agree Alfa. The deal secures PMO’s future but limits future potential.
It should however be more stable once everything settles. It won’t be a traders share anymore, which will please some, depending on which side of the fence you sit.
