RE: CTAG25 Nov 2022 12:04
It's amazing how quickly people forget the 100% lies Amit has told since 2016, I guess that's what happens when pound notes suddenly appear in front of your eyes, all common sense evaporates.
Think about it logically, Cloudtag has no assets that it owns, the ex-employees (who weren't paid) said the app didn't work and was useless, the hardware (now long out of date) was licensed to another company and there's NO data platform to speak of, so why then would a company spend $275,000,000 to buy and license what Cloudtag supposedly owns when they could just spend less than 1% of that sum doing it themselves from scratch, if it sounds too good to be true it probably is.
It's interesting that in the update it doesn't mention that a deal has actually been signed but most importantly it highlights that the Cayman Islands is the preferred jurisdiction for the deal which means Amit can only be sued there which obviously no one in the UK will do.
The one good thing about the update is that this is now in the endgame, he either delivers (obviously won't) or Cloudtag is no more, personally I'm expecting other updates (over the the years) to say the deal is still ongoing or that it's fallen though.
But you will always get the most gullible idiots like Hubba and TDAD who will fall for it which is exactly what Amit is banking on, for those less gullible here's my advice to avoid more financial pain and disappointment:
(1) DON'T pay a single penny if asked, i.e. release/transfer of funds
(2) DON'T send off the paper share certificates unless first copied and signed by a solicitor
(3) DON'T transfer any shares if held in a nominee account
I say one thing about Cloudtag it has never been boring.
