The history of Cloudtag is a perfect example on how corrupt and unregulated the stock markets are and would make great case study on what not to do when investing.

Stas, always a red flag when perfectly good posts get deleted by the rampers.

If that's the case why not just do multiple Primary Bid's at various levels (a) the company would have got more money rather selling at huge discounts, (b) no falling sp every time a BH sells, and (c) only pi's would have benefited which is probably the reason why Art didn't do it in the first place as he hates pi's.

I think people realised this years ago but as you say there always a carrot dangling and pi's are loathed to sell at a loss so they stick with it with eternal hope which in your case is six years and counting.

Amit has conveniently not mentioned how much exactly has been deposited in the Escrow account, so my guess is IF what he say's is indeed true (16 days to go) then it would be a small cash component i.e. 1p per share with the rest in shares in the company buying whatever Amit is selling.

I would love to go just to say how cr4p the bod has performed and do they think they are worth their exorbitant wages but I sold out a little while ago, took me ages to do it in tiny 10K lots as there's just no market (big red flag).

Two years ago I thought this share was going to rocket, everything was going for it unfortunately I didn't take in to account the continued falling production in Romania, the mistakes made in the drilling and work overs since (and no it was not just bad luck it was more bad management) and the total lack of comms/promotion.

If N2 is a failure as well (almost certainty from past experience) then it will be a long time before any new drilling is commenced. Basically I just lost confidence in the bod doing what's right for the long suffering shareholders and by the looks of the sp so has the market, if anyone's going to the agm please ask if the bod are prepared to take a substantial pay cut due to their mismanagement.

All of which can be done from scratch by any company for 1% of the sum Amit "claims" it's been sold for.
Personally I can't wait for the 6th May and Hubba's tears, fun times ahead.

The hospital where my mother stayed recently had Covid in every ward (it was everywhere) but the staff treated it as if it was a normal cold, they didn't really bother with masks, visiting relatives didn't need to wear masks, there was no isolation, basically it was like the old days.
I did catch Covid for the first time ever whilst visiting her and to be honest it was the weakest cold I ever had, the only symptom I had was a mild headache for a day and that was it, no coughing, sneezing, sore throat or even long Covid, now I don't know if it was because I had all the inoculations or that the virus has got progressively weaker over the last three years, everyone else in the hospital didn't seem to be too affected by it either including the really old and frail.

As for Trevor, yes he knew very well the pi's were being told a fast one with the help from his useful idiot the Professor, everyone can see that now apart from the two die hard rampers here, thankfully I sold out sometime ago.

Must say the sp is completely out of whack with the operating profit and what's in the bank balance, at some point it will turn.
Got to agree about the bod though, complete muppets with JA's reputation in tatters, please resign before you are eventually turfed out by the disgruntled shareholders.

If W1 and N2 are successful it will be in double figures in no time, at the moment though it's purely a binary share, they really need to start drilling in Romania again now we've got 100% ownership.

What annoys me the most is at the time when I bought in (May 21) it was a straight 50/50 choice between this and BOIL @ 0.06p, on paper SENX was the better run company with no debt, money in the bank and production wells, unfortunately I made the wrong choice I simply didn't take in to account the continued falling production in Romania, the complete lack of news, PR and sentiment, and the absolute amateurish way the bod and especially JA have run the company.

To put it in to perspective how bad a choice that was, if I had invested £10K in BOIL at the time it would be worth £24167 today but has been as high as £58333 recently whilst SENX would be worth £2189 today which is 91% less than BOIL :-((

Just goes to show how hard it is investing in shares especially O&G companies, my hope now is for the W1 and N2 well workovers to be a success so that they can compensate the Romania decline, if not then I'm selling up and moving on.

Pretty much the results I was expecting, still no news on the well workovers, if they had failed it would have been mentioned, I think they will release news on both after N-2 is finished and hopefully that will substantially increase our bopd.

As for Amit, he was lucky because he simply rode the coattails of his truly successful brother for all those years.
What we do know is that Amit has been proved to have lied time and time again with absolutely nothing he has said coming true. He has no worries being prosecuted as the company has changed jurisdiction multiple times.

So why does he continues the charade, there's many reasons such as preventing private legal action whilst pretending the company is still a going concern to the selling of more useless shares, the share count goes up year after year so he's obviously still selling.

I think Monday will be a boom or bust day, if both well workovers have failed then the bod will try and hid it in the results hoping no one will notice, however if successful then they will probably announce it during the results, still doesn't explain the unnecessary 34 day delay though.
The fact that there hardly any sells is probably a good sign, I still think this could go to 30p in the short term with increased production / share buyback / buying new asset / TO etc, but one thing is for sure the bod must release news more promptly and start earning their wages.

@ DADI, first step is a Share Holders Action Group (SHAG) then with enough shareholders onboard call an EGM with resolutions to replaces certain directors i.e. JA, it's actually quite a simple process and the directors will only have themselves to blame.

doug, I remember AST fondly 2016-17, I sold in the 2's and you in the 3's, went down the pan soon after just like most shares.

What is everyone's hopeful exit price assuming all the stars align correctly such as a not been taken private, JV / RBL sorted, no massive dilution or selling by the SL, bopd in the 10k's or maybe genuine TO rumors?
Mine are short term 35p, medium term 77p and long term 167p, which due to Art's constant shenanigans are all way down from the multiple £'s that I originally hoped for.
