I think you’re right Phil, I’d buy a boat load more shares but my worry is that they post an update that makes us go the opposite way and I’m even deeper in the red.
My strategy has been to run with what I’ve got and not throw any more at them, so that’s the safest option.
I’ve missed so many opportunities to sell and buy back in that I don’t trust myself, as I’m not a trader and will miss the spikes and dips.

Well this was interesting to see.
Hopefully someone knows something, but whatever is happening I simply cannot see a placement coming, that ship sailed 9p ago.
I’ve said it for a while, the only practical option, other than a farm in, is a buy out. The question is how much ?

I would be inclined to agree with you, but…. My concern is that the play is to let bor go bust, we then lose our licence resulting in another company picking it up for nothing. What’s to stop that from happening ?
I obviously hope we find an alternative to the above scenario and I expect we will be bought, but this is only my opinion and a guess as I cannot see how we are going to raise any funds.

I saw the rns and noticed it never had even the slightest impact on the sp. Not surprising really given we already knew everything that was noted in the rns from the year end results, so no change, other than our bank balance.
As previously noted by myself and others, I cannot see a share increase being used to provide funds as our sp must surely rule that out. I honestly think that either a big player will step up and join the party, or we will be bought outright, lock, stock and Darwin.
As big a set of kahunas as the chaps located in my slacks, they are not big enough for me to throw more money into the pot. I’m £95k in right now and need 6p to see this money again, and I’d like a lot more than that back.
I think 10p per share is a good stab at a sell price for one of the big players, or China. I’d be quite happy with that, so let’s see what happens. It’s do or die so hopefully it’ll be the former.

I’m in total agreement with you, I am tempted to buy more but my average is 6p and I’m not buying before the half year report is released, although I dread reading the same old crap. What are these guys doing for their wage ?
It’s a complete disgrace. Literally millions of pounds spent in office rent, wages, utilities etc. If it was their own money they would have reduced costs to a fraction of this in order to weather the storm. It’s worrying that the board haven’t even put this to a vote.
Anyway, I’ll either have a huge win, or a huge loss. At least we will know soon enough.

We need to be smarter about our energy use, as noted with hybrid cars, and even working from home more often and using our various types of communication to reduce our carbon footprint. And grow trees like it’s a national sport, not chop them down to provide biomass energy.

Very well said GeoChem, as you’ve Nitec cars are low hanging fruit. There are so many other essential uses for oil. I liked that comment, “oil is to valuable to burn.”

I agree Phil, there’s no chance of an overnight switch over. Coal is definitely a great start point but when you consider the number of coal power stations it’s out of the question for decades. With regard to oil it’s even longer !!!
we are a long way off from having a viable alternative to petrol cars. I genuinely think hybrids will lead the way. I drive a Toyota chr hybrid and I’m getting 56mpg, a plug in is not practical for me, but at least I’ve got a driveway. How many people have no chance at all of plugging into a car…

It’s been on my mind for a while now but I can’t help but see a perfect storm coming for oil and it’s nut far away. I’m all for saving the planet, or specifically the planets habitants as the earth will be fine wether we are here or not. My issue is with the current fashion to blindly crap all over fossil fuels and oil in particular. Public opinion is a key influencer of political decisions and all the politicians care about is staying in power. I’ll keep this short and simply ask if joe public has stopped to think about the reduced amount of oil wells and the impact on the oil price, not to mention shortages at the pumps and the direct impact on the economy.
I can see oil skyrocketing like we have never seen before and I won’t take any comfort in saying I told you so because we will all be well f@cked by that point.

Good point Phil, no doubt Obi1 will prattle on about difficult market conditions, an ever growing renewables sector that has resulted in reduced investment in oil exploration and that we are ready to roll with a significant discovery, blah blah blah…. Wtf have they been doing for the past decade ?

Farm in, dilute, or sell.
I’m excluding option 4 as it is simply to run out of cash and FOLD. Although I’m curious what would happen in this scenario, what about our asset ?
Anyway, back to the 3 options, as I see them.
A farm in is certainly possible and cannot be ruled out, even if the terms are poor, say 10% for BOR it is still a huge pay day.
Dilution is off the menu as it’s quite frankly a ridiculous notion at current sp. we would need at least 10p to make the idea practical and that won’t happen without a farm in, and we would not need to dilute, so I don’t think there’s a SRS chance of that.
That leaves selling the asset, or company. I think this is another practical option for us and 50/50 v’s a farm in.
I’ve been here since before Darwin struck gold, so I might as well hang about for the end game. It’s all or bust. I’m just glad we will all be put out of our misery by the end of next year.

Hi Mesquida, saw your post and I agree, this is an all or nothing punt. I’m sitting on a 6p break even with £95k on the line. I’ve had it with averaging down so not spending another penny. I’ll either have a huge windfall or lose the lot.
On one hand I see oil prices will rocket over the next decade as current wells dry up, but then there’s the Argies now threatening to sanction companies who drill for FI oil. God knows what will happen, but whatever it is I’ll be here for the pay off, or huge loss.
