If a trade is above the mid price (exactly half way between the current bid and offer) it is assumed, by all websites like LSE, to be a buy. If below the mid, it's assumed to be a sell. No one ever knows what any trade was except the punter and the MM. If volume is low, it's sometimes possible to buy below the mid... lucky you... it's not manipulation.

Apparently they're trades placed by bots, but to what end, I'm not sure. It may be to try and influence the algorithms that manage prices.

Augustus, clearly an asset sale will lead to a phase change in the level of the share price. An asset sale could come at any time. Many companies are valued on potential. As should this one. Most people acknowledge that the likely sale value of any of these assets probably exceeds the current mcap of Tern as a while. That's daft.

I agree that the dilution is unacceptable, and that something needs to be done about this. But a highe share price is the only way. Hence this FVR announcement. Which is why I find it so infuriating that the price drops... because the number is only 400k. I mean, it's FVR not Microsoft. This is very good news. For a VC that's invested in a little startup. But the dodgy sharks, traders and short termers on the AIM don't care.

Oh ok. Maybe we should ask him not to announce any commercial progress by investees.

I mean just what size of an order were your expecting? five million? ten million? it's software! The interest lies in the business relationship happening in the first place and being consolidated into a three year contract.

the 20m mcap isn't based upon FVR alone. And Tern's mcap should be way higher based upon a commercial valuation rather than NAV, as is evidenced by today's announcement.

Some people on here, mentioning no names, need to think hard about the kind of company they are invested in. It's effectively a VC, not a manufacturing box shifter. The value lies in investment asset sales only. It's like buying shares in a range of tiny IoT related startups, but through Tern as a proxy. It's going to take a while for those startups to become really big. And as things stand, progress is being made at a vey rapid rate. So smile... eventually an asset will be sold for a lot of money. That's when you reap a reward.

Ffs, it's not the size of the order that matters... This is a start up company.... you wouldn't expect enormous, multi million pound orders. The beauty of this announcement (and it is NOT an RNS) is that FVR have established an ongoing, long term, repeat order commercial relationship with a large Pharma company. This is the first one. it's a fine achievement given how young the company is. There will be others. And there will be hospital chains, and insurance companies and others. And also non-med sectors.

All anyone ever thinks about is the number, not the business, and the immediate short term, which is ludicrous as these are startups and only a long term view mean anything. Hell I hate the AIM.

Am I right to understand that the 10% of any asset sale revenues being shared amongst the board is actually not true? If so, this is a game changer for me and transforms my feelings towards this investment, as it means director's and shareholder's interests are aligned after all. Can anyone definitively confirm?

Yes but the energy storage solution that's been favoured has ben lithium, even for large scale storage. I can see that the ideal may be a hybrid solution, but there's always been benefits to using vrfb that Li can't offer, and yet it's been overlooked. Really annoying. It's great that the tide is finally turning, but what took y'all so long??

Highanddry, what's interesting to me is that you, who it seems are part of the industry, only now are realising that this tech is here. It's been around for a while of course. It's take-up that's been the problem. Do you have any views as to why knowledge or awareness of the existence and advantages of VRFB seems so minimal out there? At least historically, as things seem to be picking up now. I've been invested here for several frustrating years and it's good to see we're finally on the move. But why's it taken so long?
